My ankle surgery is on again for Wednesday the 29th. It was approved even with the steroid shot. I don't know the time of day yet. I went for blood work on Friday which ended up being crazy too! They didn't have it on record. Thankfully I was able to call the woman who has been working on this and she was able to email it over to them.
Hopefully all will go well and I will walk out of the hospital on my own. Of course they will wheel me outside first because that is what they do. I have been told I will be able to walk.
The ankle will have its bandage wrapping on for a week and I will see him on May 8th where he will remove it. I bought a nice thing that is secure for showering without it getting wet. He will also put the new ankle boot on it before I leave the hospital. If I don't like it I am allowed to take it off.
On Tuesday the day before I have the surgery I have an appointment with my dermatologist. I had seen him several weeks ago and there is a sore on my left arm, near the elbow, that needs to be scraped and sent in to check to see if it is cancerous. I haven't talked about this one before. The never ending health issues of Debby.

I'll be praying that all goes through on the surgery and there are no hiccups in the plans. It will be nice to finally have that behind you. Sorry to hear about the dermatologist thing. That doesn't sound like fun.
I am glad you are having your ankle surgery done. I have had skin cancer on my face that was removed 7 months ago. I agree about the health issues and thank God for health insurance. I wrote about my issues at my blog. I will keep you in prayer.
Thanks for the update, Debby. You are in my prayers!
Debby, I hope the ankle surgery goes through and works out great for you. I hope it is not skin cancer either. You do have a crop of things to deal with. You are in my prayers too.
I'm praying for no more cancellations for that ankle surgery. 🙏
Yes, you are in my prayers. Much love. ❤️
Oh Debby, I pray everything goes well with the ankle surgery this week. Praying that you will walk out the hospital and that everything will heal perfectly. Also praying for the skin lesion and praying it's not cancerous. Yes, it's always something it seems. My daddy had skin cancer when he was in his late 80's, and I remember him asking the doctor why now? And the doctor said, "well, if you live long enough you might get all kinds of things..." Gee thanks. But thankfully he got through it okay. Lived to be 93.
Cautiously optimistic! Please know, you're in my prayers.
Praying for your surgery Wednesday and for complete healing for the ankle and also for the spot on your arm. God knows ...
Hugs and continued prayers. Thanks for the update.
Sue
Wishing you the very best and will add you to my list for prayers.
I will be praying Debby!

Your surgery is probably over as I write this. Praying your recovery is faster and better than expected! And for the dermatologist, praying it turns out to be nothing.
