Thank you Joyce.....
1. 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' What's something you've seen recently that you thought was beautiful?
My great niece Amanda came into town for the weekend to see her GG. (Great Grandpa) I haven't seen Amanda in a long time either because she is either away at college or traveling in the summer when I visit.
The two of them were just bawling their eyes out, it was precious and beautiful.....
2. Our culture and beauty...your thoughts?
I believe it is rather sad. I know too many young girls who do not have the belief that they are beautiful because of the importance our industries puts into it. We are all equal and beautiful, God made us perfect in His eyes.
3. Age before beauty, beauty queen, beauty mark, beauty sleep...which beauty-ful phrase resonates with you today? Why?
Beauty Sleep right now. For some reason I haven't adjusted to the time difference since I came home on Sunday evening.
alligators, coyotes, black bears, birds (but pigeons in particular), sharks, bats, bed bugs, rats, rattlesnakes, and the black widow spider.
Which 'beast' on the list scares you the most? What is the liklihood of you having an actual encounter with that particular beast? Did a movie contribute to your fear of this creature? Have you ever had a real life encounter with any of the animals listed?
Alligators and rattlesnakes are pretty equal in my book. We have had a rattlesnake in our yard. We use Liquid Fence powder each Spring and it really keeps snakes away. I don't believe I could live in Florida because of the alligators.
There was no movie that scared me but I would like to add coyotes to that list also because we do see one from time to time and my fears are all about our little pup Skye, not me!
5. Where were you when you last heard a bell ring? Was it alarming or musical?
I'm going to say my dad's house. He has a doorbell that chimes a little musical.
6. What's your favorite carb? How's that for random?
As a special rare treat I will say Doritos, otherwise it is probably the crust on pizza.
7. Let's wrap up another month of Hodgepodging and life with an acrostic. Recap your month using the word MARCH.
Melancholy
Anitihistamines
Rehab
Compassion
Hospitals
8. Insert your own random thought here.
It is really nice being home. It was hard to leave my dad but I really missed my little world here.
We will be seeing Adam and Gabby for dinner on Saturday which has me giddy.
My 22 days in Florida really wore me out and made me appreciate so many of the blessing that we have.
Next up, getting my knee taken care of and to make a quick trip to see Amber and Dylan, it has been four months since they moved to Montana.

How nice that your dad got to see your great niece and spend some time with her. Catch up on your sleep and enjoy being back home :)
Wow, time had gone by so fast. Can't believe its been 4 months since Amber moved! Hope you make the adjustment soon with the time now that you are home.

22 days away from home is stressful and you had all the added drama with it. no wonder home is sweet home. I love pizza crust to.. bread is my favorite carb, white bread of any kind from biscuits to a loaf of white bread. in the fear factor, the bedbugs and spiders are my most feared because they can come in my house. the others are outside and can't get to me
Glad you made it home safely! Sweet pic of your niece and your dad.
I love your answer to number one - how sweet. I am happy that you are home and that you will get some rest. I do think that was so hard on you, but I know your dad appreciated it. Love, sandie
Wow, 22 days, I did not realize you were gone that long. You made a difference for your dad and that is special.
I am excited to hear about your trip to Great Falls, you already know I love Great Falls. ;-)

Precious photo of your niece and your dad. Saying those goodbyes...never easy. How wonderful to have the hope of a never ending future because of Jesus. Here's to brighter, happier days ahead.
Ha! I'd arm-wrestle you for those Doritos and pizza crust. Those are two of my favs, but I try and avoid them. EXCEPT! Last week in prep for a test I had to drink 48 oz. of water and NOT use the bathroom. (TMI?) The only way I thought I could manage that was to consume lots of salt. Yep, I went for the Doritos, stale and all!
So nice you were able to see your niece and that she was able to visit her great grandpa. I loved my great grandfather. We called him, Papa. I'm sure I'd have the same issue with the time zone change. I can't even get adjusted to daylight savings time this year. Have a wonderful dinner with Adam and Gabby! What do you hear from Amber?
Hi Debby... 22 days is an awfully long time to be away. Your plate certainly is full. I love pizza crust too!! Hope you have time to relax the next few days.
You've had a busy month! Glad you're home and back to normal! :)
Glad you are home. That picture of your dad and Amanda is so precious. I like the crust of pizza too. Have a great week and enjoy your dinner on Saturday :)
What a sweet picture! Montana sounds fun - will you wait until it warms up some? My favorite carb is all the carbs (really, it's the toasted bagel w/ peanut butter I eat every morning for breakfast)
Oh, I'm sure you are so glad to be home, just no place like home. Maybe things will settle down for you now. Blessings
I enjoyed catching up with you today through the Hodgepodge. I loved the picture of your dad and Amanda. I still pray for him daily, and hope he is getting better.
I agree whole-heartedly with your thoughts on #2.
Your March acrostic didn't sound like March was much fun. Here's hoping April will be better for you :)

It was a tough month for you, wasn't it. I hope you can get your knee taken care of and safe traveling to see Amber and Dylan - soon. I agree with you about beauty. Too many women buy into the industry standard which portrays anything but real people. I hope you have a better April. I'd never heard of liquid fence! We have coyotes here, and I'm glad I don't have any animals outdoors that I need to worry about. My problem with my GSD (r.i.p.) is that at night, I always had to take him out on lead because otherwise he would RUN toward the sound of the coyotes. I had to work to hold him back. I hope you have a good Thursday, Debby.
I'm glad you could be with your Dad and help him. I know it is nice for you to be home now.
Have a good weekend ahead.
That's a sweet photo of your dad and niece.
There are several dangerous animals on that list that I don't worry about much but wouldn't want to encounter too closely. Bedbugs creep me out, though. But bats, I love. I'm always happy to see them come out at night.
There is a product here called Snake Away. It uses camphor (like moth balls). It keeps most snakes away, but it does not bother some species. My mother always says, "The only good snake is a dead snake." Her former across the street neighbor has an 8 foot King Cobra that made international news when it escaped. It was captured in the yard at the high school.
Good luck with the knee surgery. Take care.
No place like home. That is true for me. I love coming home. I like it when my GPS says "you have arrived at home." I will have to try the Liquid Fence. Lovely picture of your Dad and niece on number 1.
Glad you can be back home at last! I enjoyed reading your answers. And I love pizza crust too. What a wonderful photo of your dad and great-niece.
What a sweet picture of your dad and Amanda!
Happy you are back home. Please take care of yourself and get to feeling better. Remembering you and your Dad in prayer. xo
That is a sweet photo of your daddy and Amanda. I am glad they got to visit, too.
Wow, they've been gone four months already? Isn't it funny how time both crawls and flies at the same time?
I love pizza crust, too. :)
You're in my prayers. I hope that you knee is better very soon. Have a blessed weekend.
Prayers with your dad. I love the pic with GG, what a great photo!
