As I was laying in bed last night I was in awe of the beauty I could see out of my bedroom. Our house is elevated and we can see the city lights which can be so beautiful and calming. There were large puffy clouds against the dark blue sky. I use to love looking for shapes in the clouds growing up in the Midwest. Here in California you don't get as many but wouldn't you know it I found a sleeping dog last night. Have you ever seen a dog when they are warm and stretch their legs out behind them so their belly can feel the coolness of a tile floor. That is what I saw, it was the back of the dog from the neck down. Legs out behind him with his tail laying between them. After awhile I had forgotten about the dog and when I looked back at the clouds his body was gone but his sweet sleeping face was there. I just love when God gives me such beautiful sites. Each day I live with His blessings. I can find His hands in my life all the time. One of my favorite things are the shooting stars in the sky. I have had many occasions when I have asked God to give me an answer and he sends me a shooting star. Always look for the beauty in your day and God's presence in your life.

Last night I dreamt I saw shooting stars. Your title caught my attention. Wish on one of those for me!
You know...I have never seen a shooting star. i am always with people who see them but when they see them I look too late!!! It kills me! :) But I did enjoy your first post! Pretty cool that this is what started it al...& you are right...it was good :)
