Dear Followers,I started blogging back in April. It has had it's ups & downs. I thought that I would never get more then a handful of followers. Look at me now. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am having a blast. It isn't always easy to come up with something to blog about. Since my children are grown I have asked their permission to post pictures of them but got the response of NO! So it's usually Skye my 8 month old Cairn Terrier, Charlie my grand puppy, pictures of the actual sky, scenery from vacation, our house or flowers. Just wait until I get my scanner, maybe you will get some pictures of me before the fat set in! Maybe a few wedding shots too! I really love posting with pictures. I wish that I had the freedom of speech/photo here but I don't and that's okay. I hope that I can continue to give you something interesting to read. I spend my days reading all of your blogs. I almost always will comment if I can. Sometimes the subject is just over my head, yes I am short, and I don't want to make a complete fool of myself. Thank you for stopping over. I do love and appreciate comments so feel free to leave me one. I don't know all the ropes yet and I can't always reply to your comments but when I can I do.

I know what you mean! Sometimes it is so hard to think about what to write. My wife usually never has this problem, she always is planning and checking on new subject matter.
She has some good tricks up her sleeve. She subscribes to funny jokes sites, Focus on The Family site, and other sites that email topics one or twice a week. I am not that smart though! LOL....
Can't wait to see the pictures!

I have to be careful what I write too! But I don't ask permission for pictures unless they are of someone other than my family! My children are grown, but I figure if they get mad, they'll get over it! :) I'm out of town and it's harder to blog because I'm just not good at managing my time! But I love all the friends I've made and really consider you all people I know!
You are so much nicer than me - ha ha.
I don't ask my kids if I can post their pictures - Heck If I take the picture it can go on my blog - ha ha.
I must get that attitude from my mom because she only comes to my blog to steal all the pictures to put in her digital picture frame :D Oh MY!
I just put on my blog what comes into my head or things I want to remember. Sometimes it's boring but oh well.

I didn't - - - I just started posting. If I'd have asked, they'd have said no. But now that I'm already doing it - - - they make jokes about it - - - but I find out that at least three of them check in on my blog from time to time to see what's going on there - - - and NONE of them has ever complained about what I post.
I think secretly, they are PROUD to be on my blog - - - they like me chronicling they antics, since they are PROUD of their antics.
You are more than welcome for all the comments that follow your posts! It is fun and insightful and honestly you just never know what you are going to get when you stop by so it becomes like a surprise each and every day! Thanks for sharing so much of yourself in each and every post!

well i guess i should have been a good mother and asked permission to put my children and grandchildrens photos on my blog but i didn't. oh well i guess they can sue me. i am careful however to speak kindly of each child!
I tend to ask for permission AFTER I've posted....with "I can delete it if you'd like." I try to protect as much privacy as possible. I enjoy your pictures and just love Skye!

Debby, I love reading your blog. You really do well and I look forward to reading many more. I asked my kids if I could post about them also and they acted like I asked them to cut off a body part and mail it to me. So I decided not to push my luck. (I don't want them to not like me!!) Debby, the rule is :" whomever has the pictures in his/her possession also retains the right to publish them at will. Unless of course they would do damage...embarrasment doesn't count!"

Thankfully my family allows me to post their photos, but unfortunately I don't live near them, so it comes in fits and starts. My husband on the other hand just refuses photos. He doesn't like to have his taken - but if I get one of him, it's posted!
