Let me tell you that all of these cookies were awesome.
Kookie Brittle over at The Goat
Peanut Butter Blondies from These Boys Are My Joy
Peanut Butter Fudge from Live.Love.Eat
Crispy Rice Bars from Cherie at Bakow Babble
Pumpkin-Chocolate-Chip Squares at Marthastewart.com
Orange Cream Cookies from Running Away? I'll Help You Pack via Betty Crocker
Made Aunt Jean's granola: family recipe from the 80's
Made us some Carmel's and Homemade Hot Chocolate. If some of these recipes are not credited to you please let me know and I will give you the credit, I just don't remember who I got some of these from.
So I needed a lemon to make my Houska so I asked my husband to pick one up at the store and maybe get a few limes for the Corona's. He didn't want to make another stop so look what I got from Costco ~ lots of them ~ and some nice roses too! Thank you honey.
I also have to thank my daughter for coming over on Tuesday and doing some housework for me.
Plan on making these for New Years Eve from A Nut in a Nutshell.
I had so much fun shopping today. Got tons of paper and bags for next year. Got presents for friends, relatives, neighbors and children for next year. This was by far the best shopping day I have had in a long time. (Hallmark, Target & Crate & Barrel)
I hope everyone had a wonderful time and thank you for visiting with me today.

I used to organise an 'English Tea Party' between Christmas and New Year every year, but in the end not many people showed up any more. Which was a shame, because I would try out new cakes and cookies each year! Perhaps I should reinstate!
Glad you had a great time for Christmas.
Sounds like you had a fabulous Christmas. I wish I had your ambition to cook. I used to bake dozens of cookies for gifts but somehow got away from that. Maybe I will again sometime.
