I am having trouble figuring out how to post this. I don't want it to be about me but it is about the ministry that I do and I can't stop crying. Please read the story, watch the video and you will see why I am so overwhelmed with emotion. (the handkerchief that I mailed to her is sitting on the table in the interview)
I have a blog friend named Kristie at Kristie's Notes who posted a story on December 15, 2009 that you need to see. Please visit Kristie's blog to read about this tragic story (then watch the video) and the outpouring of love that Amanda Buckland has been shown from the community. (Donations are still being accepted)
I can't put into words what this has done for me today
~ the last day of 2009 ~
ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD
What will forever get to me is that it is a small world. Without Kristie I would not have sent this woman a handkerchief and it would not have been seen on the local news. I love the way God works, everyday each move is in His hands.

Prayers for you. You have the biggest heart and it breaks so easily for others. I am blessed to call you friend.
May God bless you and For Your Tears in 2010.
I hope my family's donation can somewhat physically help out but it seems to me, this woman already knows that our Heavenly Father is watching out for her.
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful and blessed New Years.

Wow! What state is that? It is very sad. I'm sure you have read many sad stories similar to this.
How devastating! My heart is full of sorrow for this woman. I cannot even imagine what she is going through or feeling at this time. I think what you do with your For Your Tears blog is so wonderful, to reach out to others in pain is commendable.

This is such a senseless tragedy...it breaks my heart. How wonderful that you are part of such a wonderful ministry to those in such need. It always helps to know there are others that care for us when things like this happen.
God bless you as you continue your ministry...and to her as she begins her healing.
