That's right! Everything is packed away for next year. Well everything except the tree. I really wanted to have a picture of the end table, chair and ottoman but we can't take the tree down until we have some help. (This is the heaviest tree you will ever meet)
Okay, for all you football fans out there (I know who you are) I actually watched both games yesterday. Surprised? I don't know what possessed me yesterday but I pulled myself away from my office, the computer and movies on cable. I really enjoyed the day watching both games with my husband. Here is what I did with the leftover chili from Saturday.....
If you are a blogger you have most likely seen pictures of a sweet little girl named Madeline up on someones sidebar. I have never meet Maddie or her parents Mike and Heather but they hold a special place in my heart. Maddie passed away on April 7, 2009 and their lives were changed forever. I was new to the blog world when I heard about Maddie and went over to visit their blog. That is where I came in contact with baby lost mothers and the inspiration came to start "For Your Tears." I have been following them ever since. Over the past 9 months they have shared pictures and videos of Maddie, she has been my Ray of Sunshine. You can't help but smile when you see her precious face. In case you didn't know this they welcomed their second daughter Annabel into the world on Friday January 22, 2010. Head on over to see this precious little girl. If you want to read about Annie's birth story you can go here.

Congrats on getting your xmas stuff put away!
A friend of mine called this morning and said, "Woo Dat Saints!" I don't watch sports and she said it so loud that I thought she was crying!
I guess I should pay more attention.
Your appetizers look delish! We didn't make anything fancy for the game, we just pigged out on tostitos and queso dip...
Wow, good daughter!!! And those appetizers look great! I think I can make that! :)
Congrats on getting the Christmas stuff put away!
I was so happy to hear about Annabelle's arrival too!

Glad you got the Christmas put away and you have a great daughter to help you...my teenager helped me put it up and take it down too...so much easier with a little help.

Wow - you have lots of Christmas stuff... congrats on getting it put away.
Thanks for sharing about Maddie's family... I have not followed faithfully so I did not know, their new arrival brings tears to my eyes.
Christmas is still up at my house. I keep saying I'll take it down tomorrow. I've been saying that for 3 weeks and there everything still sits. Will you pass some of your motivation to me? Please!
I am so happy that you watched both games. They were both good games to watch. And, OMG those nachos look amazing!
Bet it's nice to have those decorations down! I'm sure they'll be missed but it won't be long and it'll be time for them to be up again!! I'll go visit the new arrival Annie!
Those scoop appies look great!!!!!
I still have Xmas stuff on my bedroom floor to be put in boxes. Maybe I can do that and then reward myself with some scoops.

Those goodies look soooo good - that's enough of a reason to make chili right there!
I've read a lot about Maddie. How wonderful that they have a new baby!
I'm new to this blog, but I enjoy your style of writing! I have been blogging for a few months, and have never heard of Maddie! I'll check the blog out.
Looking forward to reading more of your posts!
What a great way to serve the chili! I will definitely do that for pool night some time soon.
Heading over to meet Annie.
You have been a busy girl - getting all of the decor put up. Every year, when I'm putting mine away, I tell myself I won't do as much next year, but then, of course, I do! Love your idea with the chili. I'm going to have to remember that. Your story about Maddie brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure you have been a ray of sunshine in their lives. laurie
You are so organized, Debby. Doesn't it just feel good after everything is put away?...Christine
Oh the new baby is so adorable...blessings and joy for their family. I am sure it floods them with feeling of missing Maddie at the same time. I will pray for them!
I'm so glad your daughter came over to help that was very sweet of her. Love the bins they look great!

I'm like you -- everything is put away except the tree itself! And now I'm hungry for nachos!
