Just look what the storms can bring. The rainbow is from Thursday, the clouds were from the last storms on Friday and the snow capped mountains were our Saturday morning delight! (and basic slow cooker chili was our dinner)
Skye was still enjoying her time in the rain. As you can see when she wasn't outside she was asleep in our (unmade) bed.
And the heaviness of the rain just brought the bougainvillea's down :(
Praying for those who were not so fortunate with these storms.

Those photos of the mountains & the rainbow are just beautiful! Sorry about your bougainvillea! :( Skye is cute as always! :)
I love your view from your backyard. I just got back from San Diego. We flew home last Wednesday, just as those storms were starting. Glad you are up high because it sounds like you have had enough rain to float low lying houses. I bet that bougainvillea is gorgeous when it is bloom! Your furry child doesn't look frightened by the rain at all. I think all kids like playing in the sprinkles! I hope to finish the awards challenge you sent, but having trouble posting on my blog right now. Don't know why? checking into it!
Gorgeous!
That poor bougainvillea...:(
Beautiful photos, shows Mother Nature's wrath. Poor bougainvillea.
That rainbow looks fantastic, covering the whole of the building! Well done on that...
I love you Collage of photo's Deb! What a breathtaking rainbow!
Glad you are doing OK with the storms so far.
Been thinking about you.
You home is beautiful.
She sure got drenched, didn't she?!!
Too bad about the bougainvillea. And the collage of photos is great! Love the rainbow!
Am remembering those who are suffering in all the rain. It is so sad.
We had some rain today too. I love seeing Skye in bed too cute..
Great rainbow pic!
Debbie, those photos of the sky are gorgeous! I can't believe you captured the rainbow from one end to the other! Skye looks pretty comfortable on your bed. Do you have to force him out at bedtime? laurie
I took some photos of the view from the top of our street after the storm. We don't get to see snow covered mountains very often.
Beautiful Pictures and I love the rainbow one. I know when we do get rain here in Carson City Nevada there uaually is always a rainbow and I have seen more since I have been here.
Caroline
We had rain (well, storms) yesterday but sadly, no rainbow. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures! There is always sun after the storm ; )
How great are those photos!!
Love the weather photos...always some of my fav pics to take! Where did you get the template for the photo collage?
And by the way, we had the scones this weekend AND the salsa chicken. Both were a huge hit at my house. I'm addicted to cooking with my crockpot now. Last night we had the ribs recipie off that year of slowcooker blog. Love it!
Sorry about your bougainvillea - are they salvageable? LOVE the images of the clouds, mountains and rainbows! And I also love that your doggy is just as spoiled as ours! ;)
What a beautiful view you have! And that rainbow is amazing! We usually only get little bits of a rainbow-not the whole thing! So neat!
I'm sorry about your bougainvillea! I hope it can survive what it's been through.
