She loves laying in the bark on the side of the hill. (yes, the bark just clings to her fur and she is a mess when she comes into the house) Anyway she was over in the bark and I said "Skye come here" which we have been working on. She did learn this in class! "Skye come here now!" (yes the now helps!)

Answer to #3: (I am going to share a few)
When my children were little I remember getting ready to pull out of the driveway and my son said with a panic in his voice "Wait (his sister) doesn't have her seat belt on", it was so precious. When my son was 4 and my mother passed away he said "When grandma is done dieing will she come back?" I remember trying to get him to wear boxers to bed in the summer so he would be cooler and he said "but what if there is a fire?" It was important to have PJ's on! He would also fly paper airplanes into my bedroom and they would say "I love you" on the inside of them. Many years ago when there were allot of fires going on in California and we would be watching it on the news they would say that the fires were started my arson. Our daughter looked at us and said "who is this arson guy and why can't they catch him" thinking his name was arson.
And the award goes to:

And some pictures of Skye who really didn't want to have her picture taken. You might notice the looks I got ~ "Leave me alone I am sleeping"...... (yes I bundled her up but she didn't like it)
Skye has just been so funny lately. She's not real sure about the rain anymore and if she really wants to play in it. She is now trying all day long to take me over to her treat drawer for a chew but I'm not giving in. I was sitting on the floor in my office leaning against the couch playing ball with her and watching something I had taped. She brought the ball back and dropped it, picking up the remote control. I swear she had a smirk on her face. She immediately dropped it and it was just so funny. If only I had my camera!
Last Friday morning this was the sky I saw. I thought it was beautiful. I know on the news they talked about the evening sky that same day.
So the kids came over on Saturday for dinner. I decided to try a recipe I saw over at my friends Lori's blog @ Altered Glass. It called Light N' Creamy Chocolate Cake Roll. It was really good and actually not that hard to make. Her pictures are better but the end result was the same.
So here it is. The rug arrived on Wednesday. The UPS guy didn't even ring the doorbell which surprised me because he is usually a really helpful guy. The rug weighed 50 pounds, 8 x 10 in size and he just leaned it against the house. I got it into the family room and took a few pictures. Then when my husband came home we arranged it where we had planned on putting it. Let me tell you that for $375. it is a beautiful rug. I always look at rugs at Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, etc. The quality is amazing. I know that they messed up on the original shipping but it was well worth it. You can compare it to rugs that are easily $1,400. My husband said we should order rugs for every room. The other rug in the picture is a rug that I bought two of for in front of our sinks in our bathroom. We really like them.
So there you have it. These are my newest followers who I am just getting to know. Head on over and say Hello. (gee, I think I might be poetic or is it pathetic?)
