When we stayed with my Mom, she always spent money on our daughter and I. The only time she complained was when it was bill time, then she held out her hand and expected EVERY dime owed on electric and cable (we payed half of those bills)

Sounds like other than that everything is going well since they moved in! :)

On a POSITIVE NOTE......you have your precious daughter with you again. I am so looking forward to when Bean comes back to live with us while Tex is deployed. I know I am saying that NOW and later will be changing my tune! lol

Blessings and ((((HUGS))))~

You'd better tell her no, haha! I never, ever want my parents to pay for anything...I figure the 18 years when I lived at home were enough, and now that I'm on my own, I can pay for it, or I don't get to do it. Luckily for me, my husband feels the same way!

The rolling earthquakes are better than the shaking earthquakes...less violent!

it is more expensive when the kids come
home. guess we should budget for it or
get creative about sharing the goodness. :)

your stick it notes are so cute.

Choclate covered PEEPS? Really?

Gag.

Sorry, I'll let you have mine.

I didn't even open the fridge yesterday. I don't even want to think about leftovers. I'm bad.
When I get back from St. George this weekend I'm gonna have some serious "clean out he fridge" time.

I say let your daughter treat you to the movie.

Well, I am glad that you had a nice Easter. And I am also glad that the earthquake was not the jolting kind and that you have just memories of it. I have only felt two small earthquakes and I did not know that either one of them was even an earthquake until later on. :)

I think it is true. No matter how old our children get, when they come home it is like they are kids again and we take care of them! It is great for you both to be able to spend time with each other though - and GREAT that they can save money!

P.S. Chocolate covered Peeps - YUM!

Just this morning, my son said, I need $20 to pay my friend back, we went to the movies Friday." I found myself thinking adulthood is going to hit hard, but now that I read this I'm just scared.

i think daughter ought to treat you to a movie. mine probably wouldn't, but yours probably will!

when we lived with the nana - we let her pay too. I think it's kids natural instincts! but just think it might get them out sooner. ha.

I think as parents our kids will always think of us as ones to pay their way, here is hoping that she took you out and to the movies.

Chocolate peeps seriously? How did I miss that? I had Steve go out on Sunday when I realized we had no peeps! Easter isn't the same without peeps!

Please stop by my blog today to meet a blogger in need of help!

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

Sounds like a lovely Easter weekend...minus the earthquake! I have never been in an earthquake and that is okay with me.
