Head on over and visit with Linda. Join in the fun!
1. What is one really fast, know-by-heart "go-to" meal to fix in a pinch?
Really, I don't do in a pinch, I barely cook as it is !! I would have to say a can in the cabinet or maybe a salad! Okay I have my answer.....it's Pizza Hut online!
2. What is one item you won't leave home without. (Purse and license do not count.)
Primatene Mist for my asthma and most likely a bottle of water.
3. Where is one place you never tire of visiting?
Mammoth Lakes, California. We spend a week there every summer and it never grows old on me. I love the mountains, trees and lakes.
4. Share one factoid of your family's history.
I know that my grandparents on both sides came over from Checkoslovakia when they were children with my great-grandparents. They had to learn English and become citizens of The United States Of America.
5. Complete this sentence: "Once upon a time I ...."
... was thin. (sorry, that is what came to me)
6. If you could win a one year's supply of anything, what would it be?
Pizza from Barones's in Countryside, IL (My all time favorite with sausage)
7. "One quirky thing you may not know about me is ...."
Thinking........still thinking......I have to have a few but I am not coming up with anything.
8. You have one dollar in your pocket. What will you buy?
That depends if it is my very last thing in life or just until I get to the bank! If I am hungry I guess I would get a dollar meal somewhere or a really good candy bar.
9. "One thing that always makes me laugh is ...."
Gas ~ like natural gas out of a butt! Can't help myself. (Maybe that would be my quirky thing for #7)
10. What is one thing you could do today to help yourself reach a personal goal?
My first response was "stop eating" but then I realized I have to eat so I will say start walking everyday.
11. What is one thing you could do today to bless someone else?
Pray. Being online each day reading blogs has me praying all day long. I believe that prayer changes things and I often stop what I am doing, get down on my knees and pray.
12. What is one thing you're looking forward to soon?
Las Vegas !!!

First think I noticed was your lovely background and how everything matches.
I enjoyed reading your post.
Many Blessings - Jan
Mammoth Lakes sounds beautiful!
I want to walk every day too while the weather is nice. It's a great goal! :-)
Love #5 - that is what I would say too. Oh, those skinny days.
fascinating !
You had me laughing hard!!!
OK #9....I thought i was in Junior High for just a second. Really?
You're killin' me!
my favorite? number 11. i feel exactly the same way.
great list. FAF (farts are funny)
walking is great exercise! its when I usually pray too :)
hope you can incorporate it into your daily routine :)
we just drove through Las Vegas last week and I was amazed at how much it continues to grow (hadn't really been there for many a year); sounds like a fun adventure!
enjoy the day! I think we are heading for it to start warming up again down here
betty
You have got to be kidding me. I know you aren't. I am part Checkoslovakian and Polish, but I think that my grandparents came over from Poland.
I suppose I should have said 'thin' too...I'm in denial that my tummy is not what it was at 20. I only have to look at my daughters to know it though...my youngest is my mini me and when I look at her I think, yes, that used to be me.
I like what you said about prayer. Its one of the surprises I've found in blogging...I too find myself praying often during the day for people who have shared things online.
Your so funny!
you really are funny!!
and oh yessss... love me some pizza online!
8. I do have one dollar in my bag. It just doesn't do me any good: we use Euros here...
You are the third person I know who has said something about going to Las Vegas this week! And I definitely think #9 is your quirky #7!
Wow - it gives me such a wonderful feeling to know you are praying for me. I pray all day too for all the wonderful ladies whose blogs I read. Hope you have a wonderful day!!
This is such a great list because it really takes us inside to get to know you even deeper. I love all the what if answers, they are my all time favorite. Your right Mammoth is been my favorite place for quite some time, since skiing there when I went to high school.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
it's all about the fart humor here too.
Happy Wednesday!
Wow you get to go to Vegas.. What fun..
I do not leave my house with out my little one..
I wish we lived closer so we could walk together..
Have a great day..
The more I read your random dozens, the more I luv ya! :-D
Great answers! I was thin once upon a time, too!!!
Thanks for your comments.
GAS is FUNNY! At least sometimes... when it's really stinky... not so sure.
Thanks for praying.
I actually did take a walk today....I'm going to California the first of June for my granddaughter's high school graduation and it would be nice if I could button my pants! :)
the wording to your answer on #9 cracked me up :)

Most things I see or hear on tv/radio fluff humor are really funny. One of the funniest was on radio show "A Prairie Home Companion". My son had one of those fart machines that he would use on unaware people so the fluff seemed to be coming from them. Shock and Awe!
HA HA HA! I lvoe the natural gas one! Do you know how hard it is to sit in a classroom of 8 year olds and not burst into laughter when someone passes gas!!! HA HA HA! Ok- I need to finally do this! I should be doing work but this is way too fun! I always love reading all your answers!

Every time I stop by I learn just a little more about you! This is a funny meme!
Once you start walking every day, you'll be hooked, especially if you find a pretty place to do it. It's great exercise and FREE!
I'm looking forward to Las Vegas, too. I'm hoping to make it during this year's road trip.
Was thin ... oh yes that would be my story too :)
Those were really fun. Around here we seem to always laugh at gas too.

Btw, I agree with you that prayer changes things! :D
there's nothing wrong with Pizza hut. Nothing. At. All. =)
My greats came from Czechoslovakia too! Small world...
Mammoth Lake sounds to die for. Please, don't give me any more travel ideas! I don't think my hubby can take it...
Pizza hut sounds good to me.... like right now...lol I sure hope things slow down here...I have not been able to visit all my bloggy friends as much as I would like!!
Have fun in Vegas!!
Glad to hear you are going to start walking. It is such great to spend time with nature. Enjoyed reading all your responses.
happy Thursday..
Hi Debby, your answers are very entertaining. Enjoy Vegas!...Christine
What a fun questionaire! Loved reading your answers!
A dollar in my pocket buys 16 photographs from my local photo shop. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays their 3x5 prints are 6¢ each.
Loved your answers and I did laugh about the "gas" haha
