We are okay, we had to get in the car to get these pictures. We can only see smoke from the house. It's about a mile from my house but in our neighborhood.
Click on the picture to enlarge it. Can you believe I got into my daughters car in my robe! We can hear the airplanes flying over and can see some flames from the front of the house through the houses across the street. It is on our local news!

Hi, Boy this brings back memories of our life in Santa Rosa...we backed up to Open Space and every time we had Santa Ana winds and heard fire planes we would be scrambling to make sure it wasn't our hills on fire. I don't miss that. It can be so scarey. Stay ready and stay safe.

omgoodness! Those are great pictures but that is kind of scary!! Hope all is ok!
Goodness, that's some scary stuff. I drove through Northern California one year when I swear it was all on fire. My friend and I ate lunch with a bunch of Firefighters sitting at a booth near us and they were so tired and were soot covered from head to toe.
I read the updated post, so I'm glad to hear that you are still doing OK.
