I'm lucky that I've been a light packer. I can usually take one suitcase pretty easily! Yay me!

I can't pack light no matter how hard I try!!! After 32 years the Sweetheart doesn't even try anymore to change my packing.

I can't pack light either. EVER or under any conditions. I actually wish I could just take my whole closet just in case. I hope you have a wonderful time with your dad.
When I traveled all the time for work, I still was not a light packer - but sure wish I was! I see folks using like one duffel bag and yet they look fabulous all the time - how the heck??

I always pack to much too. Last week someone got in my acct to. I got things staightened out but it took a while. I also had someone yet in my Yahoo soI have changed things now. Terrible ....

i hate to travel too.. in fact i always say i would be such a HAPPY TRAVELER if i could just pick my house up and take it with me.. then i would have everything i needed!!!
and packing for several weeks.. i've never done that.. i don't think i could!!!!!

these are always fun to read, snippets of what is going on. packing for a trip is hard work indeed, especially for a couple of weeks. if you can launder, that is always good to plan for just a week and then wash while there. good idea with taking the movies to watch. knowing you are enjoying time with your dad!

Have a wonderful time with your Dad. I have finally figured out I don't have to pack everything. I found out there are stores where I am going and it is a good excuse to go shopping.
I hate to pack. I never know what I am going to need.

It's hard to talk to a real live person with anyone now a days. Sucks that someone hacked your account. If people would invest as much energy into something legitimate as they do illegally, they'd probably be better off financially!
One bag...I must be psychic, cuz I thought that wasn't going to happen when I read it.
I too am that kind of packer! Suitcases get started a week before leaving for a trip, and then re-packed a few times... OK I may have a slight case of OCD, ha ha!
I was unaware that Google could shut you down. Scary.
I tend to over-pack if I'm traveling by car, but can make do on most trips involving a flight with one small suitcase. Just a carry-on if it's going to be a week or less in a warm climate.
I am glad you made it safe and sound. No fun about Google.. I do not like to pack either. I try and be light but sometimes it does not even work.. I have gotten better though.

I am not a light packer either. I just got back from a family reunion in Kentucky, although it was not a 3 week trip. It is hard in my business to be gone that long. I will be posting pictures in the future.

My Hubby was a professional traveler for work for years so he has the packing thing down, thank God. I just lay out everything I want and he stuffs it all in there - and not even any wrinkles. It's amazing. Wow, that really sucks about your gmail account being turned off. How does this stuff happen???
My issue is always the shoes! They take up so much room but I NEED and love them all:)
