Well it's been over a year now and I am sure that Webkinz misses me! I would spend just as much time playing Webkinz as I now do blogging. However when I have my reader at "0" which I've been doing the last few days, I go back and play. So do any of you play or just your children?
I was working at a Hallmark store back in 2005 when these hit the stores. Our Ganz representative gave us each one to play with. I got hooked immediately! Trying to selling them would be better if we actually knew about them. Well let me tell you that most of the employee's got hooked and of course we were adults.
Now if you have children who play you know that it's all about the points you collect while playing the games. I got hooked on Cash Cow and Goober's Lab. However over the years there have been some really fun games that I adore too! See my points 768,792 thousand! Oh ya that's what it is all about. Well actually not for me but for the kids who play it's important. That's what you need to furnish their rooms. My pets all have rooms but I don't play with them like the kids do. I actually gave my great-nieces my codes so they could go on and mail themselves things from the store.
I am easily addicted to things that I love. My very first pet was a bear named Brandy. The way it works is that your account is active for a year, after the first year you need to add a new Webkinz to keep it going for another year. If you noticed my account expires on August 22 this year. So when I get back from vacation I will be adding a giraffe. Any suggestions for a name? I also have a Budgie bird and a Rooster to add over the next few years. I really don't get here too often anymore since I blog all day long but it's so much fun. Yes they are children's games but I don't care, they are simple and fun!
Each of my pets has a room of their own but they are all attached in the same house. Each time you leave their room you need to put them to bed. I love to shop for their food and feed them when they are hungry. Brandy the bear was my first, then I got Bianca the kitty, Maggie May the Westie (who was named after my beloved Maggie May Summertime), Brownie the pony and then Hunter the goldfish.
So if your children do not have a Webkinz I suggest you get them one. Of course you have to be willing to give them computer time! Of course you can always get one of your own like me :)

What I did before blogging? Eehm... Let me think here. I must have done something. Television? Yes, I watched even more tv than I do now!
Was there life before blogging? lol I will have to check out the webkinz, my grandson is coming to stay with me a week, might help entertain him.

What did I do before blogging??? Hmmm... I probably got more done in the house, but I didn't have the most wonderful, awesome friends that I have now and I have been able to learn so much more about myself, the things I love, and others that like to do the same kinda things. I have traveled to far away places (places I will never see in real life) through pictures my bloggy friends have posted; Kuwait, Barcelona, Abu Daubi. Thanks to you also. I feel like I have lived next door to you for a few years!
My neice loved Webkinz at one time, and then she moved on to her cell phone and now her iPod. Such a shame. I wonder what happened to all her pets?
Before blogging, I did more arts and crafts. Now, when I craft, I am much more aware of the time and spend it wisely. Writing (blogging) has opened a new way of expression and I love it!
My boys were too old when the Webkins started...so I know nothing about it. The only game I play on computer is Solitare.
WOW!! After over a year of blogging I forgot about Webkinz. Kids have gotten me hooked onto farmtown and cafe world. Dropped the cafe world, just too much to keep up with. Now Makayla has moved on to Roblox.

I used to actually read a book every now and then. Now I only read blogs.
I didn't even know what Webkinz was until I read it here. I am so busy with blogging and reading news online and staying touch with family and friends and reading that I barely have time to cook and do laundry. Sounds like you have found something that is fun for you and that is always a good thing.

We bought the granddaughter a Webkinz a few years ago, although I can't remember what it was. I just know that she loved it. How about Stretch or Jeeves for your giraffe's name?

Before blogging I always worked and raised kids. Now I'm a stay at home Mommy. The past 3 yrs.
My kids all have Webkinz. They get a new one every christmas. I usually end up helping the girls. Lots of FUN !!

I've been blogging now for four years, but I did the same things I now blog about. My kids are too old for Webkinz, but I have never been interested in things like that anyway so I don't think I'd have gotten pulled in. They've often tried to get me to try a video game or other computer thing like that and even though they are interesting concepts (one lets you evolve a creature and it's community life, another is a role-playing civiilzation-building game) but I just have no desire to get involved.

No clue what Webkins are but life after blogging is like life before blogging; I just add more stuff to my life -grin-.
My stepdaughter Hannah has a webkinz and she was just playing on the website. :) I've played a couple games before.
Before blogging, I did myspace and cafemom. I got rid of my myspace and I'm not on cafemom much anymore. I do more facebook and blogs now.
Before I blogged, I did a lot of scrapbooking! I actually miss it a lot.
I did play Farmville for awhile on Facebook, so I have some sort of idea what you are talking about. I don't get sucked into games too much though - thankfully - I have enough projects as it is lol
i'm totally addicted to bejewled blitz on facebook and words with friends on my iphone.
no webkins in our house but we have 1 epet that is seriously lacking online time. Before BLogging? oh it's scary how much time I was online, oh wait it's still scary
