The Terminator of plants in our yard. Of course it's not her fault, it's those darn lizards who live in our yard. When she spots one nothing will stop her! She has knocked over my things in her path when she is going after a lizard or a bird. We have some really nice metal path lights that she has banged into many times and actually has flattened some if they were in her path of running. We are thankful that she hasn't actually hurt herself. (or that she hasn't broken one of the lights) She that face, that is what happens when you ask her firmly "what did you do?" Then she will run into the bedroom and hide under the bed.
(click to enlarge)This one is a beautiful section of ground cover. (flowers not open when I took this, it was cloudy) Skye will spend all day circling this sections waiting to pounce on a lizard! This plant doesn't handle her pouncing very well! She has made several paths in this one.
Now here she is doing one of her favorite things ~ catching a ball!Good thing plants grow back!
You gotta love her, although her daddy doesn't always agree with me on that one.
New post over at Debby' Tree.

Oh my goodness the one of her catching the ball is so cute. Have a great weekend!
That last picture is so darn cute!! I think I would frame it and put it up in the house :-D
Have a wonderful Friday Debby!
Is that ground cover the type that attracts bumble bees?
How can you stay mad at her with a face like that! She's SO cute.
Wow-great action shot! Enjoy your weekend!
GOOOOOOO skye.. for getting those bad bad lizards.. lol
she is SUCH a cutie.. i love that last pic!!
have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!
Those lizards just hide in the most inconvenient places! You can't blame Skye lol
Kristin - The Goat
Well, she is just keeping you safe from those big, bad lizards! :)
Finn is just beginning to notice all the squirrels in our yard. But, he's still a little skittish of them! He'll take off toward them, but stop quickly before he gets too close!
Our fur babies are such fun, aren't they?
How could ANYONE not love (and forgive!) that face??!! Love her!
Daddy's are always the hardest to please :).
Skye needs one of those lighted paths like an airplane that has a free run for her to get there and nothing in her way ... lol
Awww, Skye is so cute, but your garden looks so pretty even after Skye's pouncing....Christine
Both of my boys go after the lizards and we have obviously got a new crop of babies and they just go crazy when they see them. I'm not sure what they would do if they actually caught one!
:)
Great shot... so glad everything is growing back!!
she is so cute and you got to love their exuberance going for things that are invading their back yard. We'll have to replace a screen door here before we move because of Koda bouncing on it in anticipation of going out to "attack" a lizard or bird.
have a good weekend :)
betty
You can't even get mad at that cute little stinker!
She is so sweet and cute. I wish I had a nice fenced in yard for my Belle. We have no fences. Have a great weekend!
Awww He's so cute & playful. He does look like Dorothy's Dog ~hehe~ You should've called him Toto. I'm your latest follower. Love the pics.
I've read that if you don t want animals in your plants to make a spray bottle of water and some eucalyptus drops in it and spray it not the foliage you don't want animals to bother. You might try that if you don't want her there. She's so cute and I know it must be so fun for her to play with the little critters.
Have a blessed week end!
I posted something today. Good to be back but not sure i can post as often as i would before due to work.
But it's good to be blog walking when i can again..
Hugs,
Silver
She is soooo cute! Reminds me of my dog Pele' when we begin to ask him a question and say, "Do Youuuu?" He cocks his head to the side- it is hilarious!
Whooops- accidently left that comment from my 'school' blog- (which is why I am Mrs. Doran there)
HA HA HA!
Sorry 'bout that!

Very cute dog! Those lizards would come in really handy in my backyard. My dog is always bored. This would keep her busy for hours!
Lol...my hubby tells me the same thing bout our Maggie!
I can look at Maggie when she does something bad and say,Hey look at what you did!"..you better bet she goes hide...lol!
Your puppy is so adorable....
As long as she doesn't choose your head as part of her running track (as my cats have done in the past. I can tell you: it hurts).
Skye's curiosity is precious! Love that last picture. She's a cutie alright.
Hey, I forgot to mention on one of your last posts, about quitting smoking. I smoked for 20 yrs. I finally did quit, but...when the craving strikes, I smoke a mini-cigar. Not inhaling, so nothing to get addicted to. Just love the smell sometimes...
I think I could forgive that face a few trampled lights and plants.
What would we do without our adorable dogs to love? I had quite a chuckle over this post - especially her "paths!" TOO CUTE!
I have a grand-dog named Marty - he makes my life happier, and he brings me closer to God. I've written several posts about him - got another one next week, too. He just seems to teach me so many things.
Tell Miss Skye she is a scamp - and I think she is adorable!
GOD BLESS!
Oh I bet my dogs would go nuts for lizards too.
Love the pic of Skye with her ball! Great photo.
What an awesome pic Sweet Sis..

Too Cute!
ah, the joys of owning a... terrier!! she's programmed to do what she does, it's not her fault... she even shows remorse poor thing!
maybe get her a ball that looks like a lizard, LOL!
Hee hee and she looked so guilty in that first shot! My black lab broke a patio light chasing a chipmunk this week. Sigh. Good thing they are cute!
Is the second one Mexican heather? One of the reasons I use vinca (periwinkle) so much as a ground cover is that it can tolerate a fair amount of foot traffic.
What a guilty look :-)
shes too cute to get introuble! :)
i love that pic of her catching the ball ..perfect shot!
have a great weekend!
So cute and oh so sweet.
Oh my gosh...our little Pearl would just go crazy if there were lizards to chase around the yard. She misses the squirrels from our last home....
Sure makes anyone smile!
she looks so sad in the picture where she's in "trouble"
and love that action shot.
She's the cutest thing ever and looks like a real pistol, even with her guilty face on!
