I totally understand about those word verifications.
I have failed a few myself.
Also, about the time I got used to copying letters exactly, a wrench is thrown in and they ask me to add.
No fair!
I tried to de-chocolate the house (except for a nibble or two) and planned some healthier meals for myself. My husband is traveling and alot of times I just pick at this and that and before I know it I've had a day of nothing but junk. If I plan I do much better.
Good luck with the take down...we did ours this weekend. It's a big job...I still have my snow village up but will hopefully get to that this week.
I took all my leftover Christmas goodies and froze them. And this morning I am putting away my Christmas boxes. I am, I am, I am!
I like the pink! I've got to come down off the sweet high soon and get my butt in gear to start losing weight. But, what a surprise to find a stash! :D
Word verification should be illegal, just sayin'. It makes me bonkers!
I like that kinda stash. Trish
I second that emotion, That One Mom! OFF WITH THE WORD VERIFICATION!
I just took down my Christmas tree this past weekend. All my outside decorations are still up and will remain so as were are under about 8 inches of snow and have sub zero temps with the windchill. Uh...yeah...I'm not a polar ice duck. I don't do THAT kind of cold!
Rock the Chocolate stash! Thats the best kind :o)
I like the pink, reminds me of Spring that will be here soon (at least in my head). Glad you found the stash - we all need that at times.
You didnt fail me , you helped me with kind words all week and i thank you
I like the pink and I too have a hidden stash. It helps for those days I could really use some Chocolate.
Hidden stashes of treats are the best!
Right where you need them when you NEED them.
Sounds like a fun lunch. You are right, Christmas doesn't seem to ever want to put itself away.
wish i had hidden a stash of treats!!!!
your new look here is so PRETTY-- i looooove it, i think.. the prettiest yet!!!!!!!!
I have the upstairs unchristmased but still have to do the downstairs. I leave my snowmen out until Feb. so it doesn't look quite so bare. And it's always nice to remember a chocolate stash.
I am not a fan of the word verification - partly because of what you just said. I do fine with just approving them before they publish (knocking on wood) and I've had a few that I didn't see until I had already hit the "X" to leave the site....my comment goes off into the blogisphere!!!
Let's start a petition!
i hate word veri. ugh! dumb.
and yay for secret chocolate. even if I am "dieting"
booooo
Yah for secret stash of chocolate.
Wish I had a candy stash. We have been stuck at the house for 2 days. I have eaten mine up.
You are not kidding when you say it is tough to quit eating sweets after Christmas! I keep racking my brain to remember if I have a secret stash - LOL!!!
A hidden stash!!! YUM
I think you should keep the tree up for the month it is beautiful!!!
hahah we put our christmas tree away last week.. the rest of the house still has christmas decor don't worry you're not alone!
Getting stuff down can not be that fun. But if you have a hidden stash that can help. Do not forget to enter my giveaway if you would like to.. Have a great night.
I love the new look of your blog.
Coming down from the sweets is NO joke! Funny how that happens! Check my blog tomorrow, I have an award for you!
I have an issue with word verifications to begin with!
Score on the hidden treats!
Mimi
I love this post it note thing you do it's so neat!
I agree it takes me forever to put up all the Christmas stuff, and I don't have alot at all...I can't imagine all you have to do,bless your heart :)
Sweets are my weakness...I try to keep Dove dark chocolates in the freezer. That way they are on hand when 'needed', yet out of sight so I'm not tempted all the time. :)
I'm going to see if there's a chocolate stash around here somewhere. Right NOW!
I'm with you on the word verification ... it doesn't help when the letters are so misshapen that I can't decipher what the letters are! :-(
I love it when the stash I hide away is still there when I really need it! ;-)
Have a great day!
I need my secret stash to go away!!!! I keep going to it and I am worried I won't be able to fit into my pants pretty soon!!!
ps- I am with you on the word verification!!
Hugs-
L
Deb, I have a chocolate stash, too! Years ago, it was a game between the kids and I - I tried to hide the goods, and they always found them. How did they ever find them? I finally have the perfect hiding place -- my sewing basket. :) Have a great week!
I have to admit, I have stashed chocolate before and have forgotten about it. I've also been thrilled when I remembered about the stash LOL
I have all my Christmas stuff put away, except for my nekked little tree. I just had to have the lights for a little while longer.
Yeah for finding the stash!
Yeah for the hidden stash (and that there is someone else out there struggling to get the rest of their Christmas stuff down)
Our Christmas stuff is coming down this weekend. *sigh* I'm having trouble with the sweets thing, too. Bought some Oreos for the Granddaughter the other day and had forgotten that I liked them. Big mistake!
I hate those scrunched up word verifications! And I always buy extra Christmas chocolates.
