1. What would you do if you found a pot of gold? Let's pretend this pot of gold is worth exactly $1500 (which would actually be more like a cup of gold at current values). Anyway, let's also pretend you have to spend it as opposed to making a donation someplace. Now tell me what you would do with that cup pot of gold?
We would go to Disneyland and also Universal Studios!
2. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day in any way, shape, or form?
No.
3. Have you been bitten by the Spring Cleaning bug? What spring cleaning job most needs doing at your house? What spring cleaning job are you most dreading?
No ~ Everything ~ All of them!!!
4. Lime-shamrock-sage-forest...your favorite shade of green?
Sage green.
5. Thomas Jefferson once said, "I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it." So...do you believe in luck or do you believe we make our own luck?
I believe in luck, I also believe in being at the right place at the right time and also I believe in Godicidences!
6. Monday (3/14) was Pi Day. Get it? Pi =3.14. Those math types are so clever aren't they? Since I'm not one of them tell me what's your favorite piE (the edible kind)?
Well I really like Bumbleberry when Polly's made them. I'm not sure anymore, but if there is a blackberry one that is what I would choose.
7. That same date (3/14) happens to be the birth date of the late physicist Albert Einstein. I bet he knew the value of Pi. So...what do you think is more important and or valuable in life... intelligence or common sense?
That is not an easy one to answer. I do know that in some situations common sense can get you further than intelligence!

I hate to be Debby downer but that is where I am right now. Took Amber for her blood work yesterday. Since she doesn't have insurance it's been many years since any blood work has been done so we felt it was important for her to get it. So the other day I was asking my husband "what if we go and it's like $1,000. what do you want me to do?" He said "well it needs to be done doesn't it?" Well it was $960.00 and that was with a cash discount! Also on this day 29 years ago my mother passed away from a massive heart attack. I just can't believe that so many years has passed, it still feels like yesterday. Amber was only 10 months old at the time, she didn't even get to know how awesome her grandmother was.

I hope things get better quickly for all of you. xo
I sure hope with all that blood work you all get answers! That is one high bill! I'm so sorry. I am praying for you.
I can't believe it cost that much for your daughter. I so hope answers are found from this, and I'm sorry about your mom. :(
I love the term Godincidences. Perfect!
What is bumbleberry? Sounds interesting.
I'm sorry you're in such a hard season right now. I will keep you in my prayers. And no matter our age, we always need our moms.

So sorry Debby. That seems like a ridiculous amount for blood work. Do you guys have a charity care at your hospitals?
your daughter is very lucky that y'all can afford to help her. I hope you get answers soon.
Prayer request at arise 2 write.

ALWAYS PRAYING FOR MY AMBER
Hi,
I know what you mean about the high cost of medical stuff. We're dealing with it here, too. It's so out-of-control! I hope your daughter finds some answers and help.
I am so sorry about the loss of your mom. I don't think it gets much easier as time passes. This April will mark ten years since my dad passed away unexpectedly. Hugs to you. Find joy in the wonderful memories you have of her and continue to share those memories with your loved ones. That's how she will live on.
Hi Debby,
You have a lot going on in your life right now. Please know that my heart goes out to you and your daughter. Thank you for keeping us updated.
((Hugs))
Michelle
Oh Debby... I am sorry... I know how hard the anniversaries are... my dad passed away 23 years ago. While Amber's tests are a lot of money, it is very important. Hopefully the results will help her very quickly...Thinking of you...
I love the just barely green colour of new leaves and plants shooting up. The delicacy of that colour is just amazing.
960 dollars? You should have done what my uncle did. He had an insurance policy that meant that every time he went into hospital he was paid a certain amount. Well, hospital is free and we only pay up to a certain point for medication. He's been in hospital at least twice a year since his 'insurance' started 30 years ago!!!
Sorry for such a high bills & thinking of you so much. saying prayers
Health Care costs are outrageous.
Prayers going up for Amber...Godincidences help get us through life.
Blessings
Oh Debby my heart goes out to you. You are an amazing Mom to Amber.. My little one is the same way she did not get to know her Great Grandmother/My Grandma. I was a year old when she passed away. That is who my little one is named after.. It is okay to have a downer day.. Just keep her head high and know others are here for you.. Love ya.. Hugs..
Going to Universal Studios would definitely be at the top of my list, too! We're dying to go to the new Harry Potter theme park!
You've had a heck of a day, to be sure. Hope the tests bring good news. Sending hugs your way.
When will she get the bloodwork results? She's in my prayers.
Amber is why we need national healthcare. Just sayin'.
I LOVE blackberry pie, too, with a scoop of melting vanilla ice cream.
I think it was good and a blessing for your daughter that you were able to pay for her blood work; I remind myself a lot these days "it is only money". I am so sorry that it has been 29 years without your mother; 4-1/2 years here seems like a long time yet my mom was alive long enough for many years that her grands know of her love she had for them.
Sage seems to be a popular color of green; all the blogs I read today that did this meme, sage was the color chosen.
We ate at Polly's when we went to check out where son was living; their food is delicious! I'm sure their pies scrumptious!

(I accidentally hit the comment buttom twice so I deleted one of my comments, sorry about that!)
