1. Have you ever been served breakfast in bed? Do you enjoy that? If someone were serving you breakfast in bed this coming weekend what would you hope to see on the tray?
I am pretty sure I have had breakfast in bed but it's been way to long ago to remember. Definitely enjoyed it. I would love some eggs over easy, buttered toast and some sausage.

6. What do you do when people don't admit they're wrong?
Well I blew up years ago with my father-in-law when I knew he was wrong. His children and people who knew him would just let him always win. I just couldn't do it anymore. Well that turned into two years of him not talking to me. He was so stubborn. I would still try to prove myself being right to a family member. As far as other people go I just let it go. If I know in my heart I am right that is good enough for me. See most people who won't admit it will eventually know that they were wrong

Most of you know that I have another blog called For Your Tears where I mail out handkerchiefs to women who have lost a child. (if you ever have the need for one please feel free to contact me, it doesn't have to be an infant. Our children are always our babies no matter how old they are) I just wanted to share a recent post with you from a woman who received one from me. Her name is Christy and her blog is called Everlasting Families. This is why I do it. If I can bring comfort, even for a brief moment, then I have done what God asked me to do.

Would love to see you on the pogo stick! The handkerchiefs you send to people is a service of love that is so encouraging to them and even us. Thank you for your service.
The handkerchief service you do that I am so excited about. What a wonderful ministry. I think back to when my parent's lost my brother at the age of five. It is sad that there was no one like you around then. I am amazed by the fact that you can pogo stick...you must be a riot at parties.
What a blessing you are to the families who lose a child. Bless you!
I love playing Scrabble ... I just can't find anyone who will play with me. ;-)
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I MIGHT NEED ONE WHEN MY DADDY PASSES. YOU ARE SO AWESOME!
I have never been able to hula hoop, but my daughter, Abby, is a hula hoop whiz! She's even won a few contests! Yes...breakfast in bed sounds divine. Of course, mine would probably consist of a big bowl of Cheerios. I love what you're doing with those handkerchiefs! Such a sweet idea! I know they bring lots of comfort to grieving mothers. I lost two babies to miscarriages between the births of my two girls. It's a hurt I'll never forget.
You can hula and pogo?? You are a rockstar :)
maybe it was a blessing that your father in law didn't talk to you for 2 years. lol.
I am in awe about the hula hool and pogo stick! WOW!

Breakfast in bed .... hmm I seem to do that a lot for Rick but I don't think I've ever had that ;(

I agree would love to see the pogo stick!
UGH the wrong thing yup you just have to suck it up and say your right I was in the wrong, but I know it's so hard for so many to do ... UGH
Your compassion is inspiring!
Stilts and a pogo stick too? I'm very impressed!
I think I may have had breakfast in bed before..
For a new Mom I would say sleep and enjoy your time with your children they grow up way too fast..
A this weeks has been a wild one for me for sure so I think I have let out a few screams..
I can't hula hoop right now but I use to..
In traffic I do not like it when someone is right on my car's butt.
It drives me crazy when someone is wrong and won't say it. I hope they get it and stop doing it..
Fun a girls night or date night.. Or a great book...
I love your For your Tears blog.. It sure helped me and gave me an amazing new friend..
Have a great night..
omg, I like stilts and pogo sticks too!
I love your handkerchief ministry. When I first read #2 question, I had the exact same thought. Those were some tiring times, for sure!
Oh, stilts and a pogo stick, too! Wow...I'm impressed :)
I think I may be one of the few who actually told their screaming story today...
Loved the handkerchief, and the ministry...so thoughtful of you.
Thank you for your posts- I always love reading them! I am so with you with the blog thing- I only wish I had started it when my oldest was born!! Oh well- I guess that's what 'wednesday walks' can be about!
I say scream on- whatever it is- sometimes makes you feel better.

Such a sweet post and such a wonderful thing you are doing to encourage others. May God richly bless you.
What a wonderful ministry! I've never heard of it, but what a unique way to reach out to those who have lost children.
I think you have such a great ministry in your "For Your Tears" one Debby; I know it touches people's hearts.
How fun to go to Disneyland in a few weeks! and the weather should be just about good and hopefully the crowds not over abundant!
good for you to do a pogo stick and stilts in addition to the hula hoop!
betty
What great answers.
I love everything you do for the Babylost community.
You are such a blessing.
I love hula hoops. Would love to see you hooping....Christine
We love "speed scrabble"... how about you?
Scream: IN my car. When people do stupid things that could get me killed.
Fun: Reflecting back to childhood with childhood friends.
I had stilts and I love a pogo stick but I never mastered the hula hoop. We were on the road all day yesterday and it is astonishing how many people are on their phones!
I have felt like screaming all week now, but that will only make my head hurt more! So, not a good idea...
Debby, your For Your Tears hankies are the nicest thing I've seen in a long time. What a beautiful thing to do to help ease the grieving hearts of these families with angel babies. Thank you for doing this!
I use to hula hoop for hours, now I can't do it, how sad. You are awesome for your other blog, it is wonderful what you do Debby!
I KNOW!!!!!
Does anyone ever just drive anymore????
I swear, what did the world do when the phone was still connected to the wall?
Oooooo I am with you on that breakfast in bed, you picked a good meal :)
& I have to admit I do take a lot of naps when I get all the boys down.
But I sure wish I could hula hoop :)
I love that you do something so incredibly thoughtful as For Your Tears. AND you can hula hoop too???!! You are amazing!! xoxo
Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day!
Wow, you pogo and hula hoop! Far out! I love that kind of stuff.
Love your advice to new moms. It makes me sad, because my kids never read my blog or even my articles that were in the newspaper last year. Do any kids actually do that? No, don't tell me, I don't want to know. Heavy sigh...
Hey, thank you SO MUCH for voting for me!!!!!!!! You're the best! Please allow me to return the favor sometime...because I love to bless people's socks off!
No she did not eat the peaches and the cheese. I do not blame her either.. THanks for the kind words for sure.. Have a great night..
eggs over easy, buttered toast and some sausage - a woman after my own heart! YUM!
i'm also a scrabble addict... we'd have some fun times together ;-)
Debby, I went over and read Christy's post. what a wonderful ministry you have! God bless you. I can no longer hoola hoop. I hadn't done it in years, and recently went to a party where people were doing it. I was shocked that I couldn't do it. I have NEVER been able to do the pogo stick! I'm soooo impressed. Hope you get breakfast in bed for Mother's Day. laurie
It's funny - I think starting a blog when you have a new baby is a great idea, but I there are only a very few "mommy blogs" I like. Too unidimensional.
That's so lovely, Debby. Christy wrote such a beautiful post. I'm sure it just made your heart soar. You have such a good heart.
Guess what? My kids are napping and I'm not. Terrible. Most of the time I do nap when they do simply because I'm too tired not too.
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
