One thing I want to share with you, I am not a sponge and I do not retain information well and I am not a history buff. I did study my spiral guide books that I bought at AAA to find out what I wanted to see in London and Paris but that's about as far as it went. I have been crazy about London ever since Princess Diana married Prince Charles in 1981. When it comes to Paris I really only knew that I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. So if there is something that I mentioned seeing when I do my posts and I haven't provided any information or history about it please feel free to Google it!
There is a new post over at Debby's Tree and I am picking up most of this years ornaments up tomorrow. I can't believe it is already ornament debut at Hallmark!

The gray sky there is something I recognize right off the bat-saw a lot of that in our years there! You got to do a lot, so many of my favorite things. Love the pizza shot : )
My parents visited London during their holiday last week and they went in Kensington Palace (where Princess Diana lived the last few years). My mum loved it!
The Hard Rock Café in Paris? My sister and I know it well. Well, we had dinner there once!
What wonderful photos ... I believe I love the one taken on the drive to Turin the best. ;-)

What a vacation!! I loved Princess Diana, too. How cool that you were there. Not until I see the lovely photo's of people's travels, am I reminded, once again that there is a big big world out there!!! So, was the pizza good?

Wonderful shots! I wonder if the people who live there take it all for granted or appreciate the history on a daily basis?
My favorite is the drive from Paris to Turin- that just must have been beautiful!
I can't wait to read more and see pictures from your trip! I really wish I had gone to Harrods when I was there. We were 1 day too early to tour Buckingham Palace. The Queen was still in residence there at the time.
