Flowers everywhere.... It's been awhile since I did a Miss Skye B post!
Remember this song from the Cowsills in 1967. I was in High School at the time. Anyway we have these beautiful flowing bushes in the yard and she of course is always chasing something around them. She will come out with flowers all over her. I sing that song whenever I see her with flowers in her hair. Of course the flowers end up everywhere, especially all around the house! (can you see how much she needed a haircut?)

Then I knew (I knew... I knew... I knew... I knew)
She could make me happy (happy... happy)
(She could make me very happy)
Flowers in her hair (in her hair)
Flowers everywhere (everywhere)
Every once in awhile we will give Skye a water bottle to play with. She loves to play with them. (yes I am aware of the dangers of her swallowing plastic, we are very careful and keep a very close watch on her and the bottle) We get a kick out of the way she holds it up like a baby bottle. Someday I will have to get a baby bottle and get some pictures of her!
Skye and Charlie in the pool this summer. This year Charlie just would not allow one toy in the pool. Put them in and he worked very hard until they all were out of the pool. He would do this over and over again. Skye is always looking for something in the bottom, only God knows what, and she is always dipping her face in to get it!
I think I mentioned on Tuesday how crazy Skye is about the lizards in the yard. She has to check each spot each morning, all the places they like to hang out at! She saw one go into these bushes the other day and followed it into in! She is on the hunt all day long. So last Sunday she saw a lizard go under the metal umbrella holder in the yard. She was there all day waiting for it to leave! She is very OCD about lizards and her pink tennis ball.
Well here she is after her haircut on Wednesday. It's a little shorter then I usually do but it grows pretty fast and she has a very thick coat so within a few weeks she will be a cute bundle of fur again! She spent the rest of the day sleeping.
(I love the flower girl)
Oh I don't know just why; she simply caught my eye
(I love the flower girl)
She seemed so sweet and kind; she crept into my mind
(To my mind ... to my mind)

Lovely photos and thank you for the update!
If you're wondering why I don't comment so much on your blog: quite often my browser won't let me open your blog! Extremely annoying.
Oh I love dog stories and your is so cute with the pictures as well. Thank you for sharing. We do love our "Babies", don't we.
Those pool pictures are adorable.
It's so funny that she goes all the way into the bush after the lizard. One day her persistence will win her a critter!
What a cute flower girl! My dachshund, Sweet Pea, likes to chase lizards, too. We keep a container for bird seed by the back door and that is where the lizards like to hide. Sweet Pea spends a lot of time there and actually caught one a couple weeks ago. YUK! You are such a good dog mommy... love the swimming pool pic's!
Such a sweetie!! My dog used to love to play with plastic bottles also. My husband and I would laugh at what a cheap doggie toy it was. It would really get him riled up if we put something it to make noise.
aww the flowers.. the lizard thing made me laugh it's awesome how skye remembers where they were! love the pool! haircut looks good! all nice and clean to go hunting lizards and to get into the flowers again lol

Wow she look so different after a hair cut.. My dog loved the pool this summer too.. Have a great day..
I think that a plastic pool full of water is just as fun for a dog as it is for a kid. What fun that Charlie doesn't want any toys in the pool LOL
awwww pretty girl.
wooohoo Flash back lol
She looks so different with her hair cut! I bet the two dogs enjoyed having a chance to cool off a bit in their pool!

And, I remember that song too!
Tucker just got a hair cut too! And he loves water bottles! As a matter of fact, after he saw Skye with one, I had to give him mine! LOL
That song was perfect for this post!
Woe...that song takes me back...way back. Lol.
As always, Skye is her cute, sweet self. I miss having a pet...what a blessing she is!

I'm loving the hair cut, I bet she is loving it short :)
Sweet pictures!! My baby is in need of a haircut herself!!
Skye is just so, so cute! I could look at pictures of her all day!
Ok, I'm not a dog-person (that's so politically uncorrect to admit to but...!) ---> but this is one cute little doggie.
It is so much fun to communicate with others who love their pups as much ads I love Lexie!! Skye is adorable!
Do I remember it? Are you kidding? As soon as I saw your title it began running in my head. And, of course, you know the Cowsills are from Newport, RHODE ISLAND. Neighbors just down the road. In fact I remember seeing the house they lived in back then. Sad ending to their story. Nothing good came of their fame. One of the brothers was found drowned in NOLA after Katrina.
More importantly, Skye, as usually is ADORABLE!
