What two television shows that have gone off the air do you miss?

I miss Brothers & Sisters, I really loved that show.

Look at all the things you do have and focus on them. I pray God will give you peace about the rest. 60 is far from old!
60 may have seemed old at one time but the world has changed and 60 definitely isn't old!

They say that 60 is the new 40. I turned 60 in February ... not sure that I'm convinced about that just yet. ha!
I think these post it notes are so cute to do! I tried to do one, one time, but wasn't very sophisticated with it (took me too long, will have to try again when I have more time)

I can imagine it would be hard to get used to AMC not being on. I never followed that one, but I know it was quite popular; didn't realize it was on for over 40 years!

I can't think of any shows that have been cancelled that I watched. I'm sorry you lost a couple of your favorites. :-/
Take heart! My husband turned 60 in August and he's still kicking! :) I'm 11 months behind him.
I haven't watched soaps in years, but sometimes if they are 'accidentally' on while I am doing something, I catch myself watching to see what is going on. (I mainly like to see what people are wearing.... ha ha) I'm sure it would be easy to get caught up in them again. About being sixty.... the older we get, the younger those numbers sound! I work in a nursing home and I can tell you, sister.... 60 is YOUNG!! :o)

Please don't feel sorry for yourself. Be happy you are still here to count the years and make new memories for when you are really old. I am 65 and it is the best time of my life so far. Hope your birthday is full of joy and you treat yourself special.

I don't watch soaps but my Aunt Betty does- hers are all on CBS though.
I miss Brothers & Sisters too. I didn't realize that it was cancelled until mid-summer and I pouted for a solid day about it.

It is sad the shows they cancel. I watched All my children off and on. I also read somewhere they will be done with soaps all together in a couple yrs. So not fair I like my soaps just like many like sports.

It's hard to believe I'll be 50 this year.
I used to watch All My Children, but it's been 20 years or so. I miss Chicago Hope, Gabriel's Fire, Homefront, Life Goes On, and some other shows that never really caught an audience but I loved them.

I really miss the show MONK with Tony Shaloub - I watch reruns all the time but I really miss that show - it was good!
I haven't watched All M Children in a long time, but I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who are feeling the way you do about it. I know what you mean about the turning 60. It's funny how that used to sound soooo old, but like you said, we were much younger then. Hope you have a wonderful birthday. laurie
I felt sorry for myself when I turned 30. And then 40. And I will feel sorry for myself when I turn 50. And in the end (like a day later) I don't care at all. It's only a number after all...

Old is like young...a state of mind. You aren't old by any means! I know doesn't seem like something to celebrate but I bet all the people whom you have blessed in your 60 years would disagree!
I miss AMC, too. Seems like some friends have moved away or something.
I'm still having a tough time dealing with 50, but I guess the trick is to stop thinking about the number and focus on life.

It's so hard to tell people not to worry about their age, because to some it means so much - I forget how old I am most of the time. I only remember when I realize how many pills and potions I take every day to keep me functioning LOL
