Not really, it was more like Wicked & Mission & Tree is not done!
Not much time to spare but I want to share...
It was a "WICKED" Sunday on the 11th and I loved every minute of it. What a great day we had. I thoroughly enjoyed the show! (don't forget to click to enlarge)
My mission was the Mission Inn. We had Mark's Christmas dinner at Mario's which is across from the Mission Inn. We went a little early so I could get a few pictures just before the sun set. It didn't disappoint! Our dinner was perfection. If you are ever in Riverside, CA you must give them a try. If you look through the Season's Greetings that is Mario's across the street!
So my tree is not done but its getting there. I thought I would share a few ornaments from my tree and a couple of other little trees that are done. I also put my plush out this year. I don't think I am going to have time for my snow globes, nativities or snow village this year. They will mean even more when I unpack them next year!
I learned a few things this year:
I'm not enjoying getting up and down the ladder!
Ornaments that go over a bulb so they light up are not easy to place on the tree!
Trees get old and the branches get weaker, it's been frustrating this year. Put the ornament on and the branch will bend over to one side or the other, ARGH!
I don't need more ornaments but two new smaller trees would be nice!
When you replace a burned out bulb don't take it out and go get the new one, bring the new one with you beforehand otherwise it's like looking for a needle in a haystack!
Now for a really special treat you need to go over and visit with Laurie. It will blow you mind!

I really enjoy looking at your Christmas things. They are lovely.
Wicked looks great. Your tree is coming along everything looks great! Can't wait to see the finished tree.
Gorgeous pictures! You have some very beautiful ornaments!
Love all your ornaments! Glad you enjoyed Wicked. Thanks for sharing the pictures of the lights at the Mission Inn ... how beautiful!
Love that last little lesson! I love that you get so into the holidays!
Glad you had a good time at Wicked! So, it's worth going to see, huh?
The Christmas lights are beautiful!
Sounds like your Wicked day was a lot of fun, and your photos are wonderful. Love seeing your precious ornaments, and I laughed about replacing a bulb. I have done that too! Drives me nuts! What really drives me crazy is the ornaments that plug into the receptical for a bulb. After Christmas is over, if I remove the plug and don't replace the bulb, the next year is crazy! I've quit plugging them in because of that. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas. laurie
Looks like you had a great time! Love that Wicked cup!
I love the photos of all of your Christmas things! I think I've finally met someone who has more Christmas stuff than I do :) Don't you just love Christmas stuff?! I do!
I've been passing some of my decorations and stuff down to my daughter over the years. She loves Christmas stuff, too.
I have that same Elf on the Shelf ornament!
Okay I think these were great tips. If I were you and I am not - since this tree seems old - BUY TWO NEW ones.
And your ornaments are gorgeous!

Your pictures are gorgeous and so glad y'all enjoyed your dinner and show.
Your decorations are sooooo beautiful! Two small trees sounds good, but more work!
What pretty ornaments! Looks like you have lots and lots of Christmas decor. I have scaled back so much. Just got weary with all the hauling in and out or up and down. :o)
Blessings for a wonderful Christmas week!
I would like to see Wicked...my Granddaughter was in Show Choir and they performed songs from the Show. I fell in love with them! Love the lights of the City and of course, your Ornaments are lovely.
Merry Christmas Debby!
Nobody does Christmas as wonderfully as you do. I would love to see your decorations in person!
