Come and join in the fun!
This week’s question is:
Sometimes it's fun to envision packing up and moving to a new city/state. Where are three places that you'd consider living?
Lately it seems like I dream about this on a daily basis. I would love to go back to the UK and live in London for awhile. Preferably with William and Kate at Kensington Palace. (hehe) This is my photo.
I would love to live on a farm. Not a working farm. My husbands grandparents later in their life bought a farm for a summer home. When we were dating we would visit with them on the weekends. I want a white farm house and a red barn. (this is not my photo) I want to grow a garden and kinda live off the land doing my own canning. It seems peaceful to me. Of course I would still have Internet!
Of course another perfect setting would be to have a cabin in the woods for the summer months....

Any and all of those places sound great to me also :) :)
I'm so with you about the farm house, cabin in the woods, and a place at the beach.
I think I'd enjoy Oregon. I love the trees and the beach. Plus people I love live there.
I have the farm/cabin thing going on, so if I had to choose an alternate, I'd pick a beach cottage!
Oh my ... on the beach would be my dream home!
Having a cabin tucked into the mountains of Tennessee would be my dream come true!
I would love to have a place on the beach...
Our dream home is a log cabin! Oh how I would love that!
Aside from the beach on the winter, I am SO there, I guess I'm more of a city-girl. Having moved from the suburb of a large city to a small city, I have to say I love a small city! All of the convenience and farm and picnic land a short drive away. I also love curb-side recycling, which we didn't have in the suburb, we even had privatized garbage pick-up, which always left me wondering what they were spending the taxes on.
I'd pick Chattanooga, San Antonio (although I've never been there) and I'll share that beach house with you! :)
That would be a wonderful dream come true...the farm with a barn and of course, a stream to go fishing. Then again, having a beach house to hide away in would be great too. I'm closer to making that happen living here in Oregon where there are barns everywhere. I have discovered a love for them. Maybe when I retire....
Your farm description sounds like just where I live. There are farmers who work the surrounding acres, but not us. We have our garden (though I'm not a big canner - too much work), and we have our dogs. Unfortunately, we also have dogs, and bills and all the other issues of life, but we do have a beautiful, peaceful place. An evening outside by the fire, listening to (and occasionally seeing) the wildlife around us, is awesome!
Now if I just had the beach condo and the cabin!
Well I agree those places are wonderful ideas to live at. I would pick Greece, Italy, and the beach. Love, sandie
Dream big Miss Debby....a girls gotta have her dreams!!!
(Sometimes they do come true!)
Have yourself a perfectly blessed day sweetie!!! :o)
We're at the airport waiting to fly to London. My dgt said she'd love to live in London or Paris....Me? I love where I live but it would be neat to try out a few other places....ie the farm sounds fun....
I agree with all your choices! It was hard to whittle it down to three but here are mine:

I love your last dream home!!
Love this post! Yes, move to London. You will love it - it's just breath-takingly beautiful. As for me right now - as of today I could just move away to a beach house somewhere and sit there for some quiet reflection and R&R.
Oh My husband and I dream of a cabin in the woods!....and a condo in Florida! LOL!
Blessings, Joanne
I think it would be neat to live in another country like the UK to explore it all and to experience the different culture there. My sister and her family lived in the Netherlands for two years a few years back for a project her husband was doing at work. They were so close to so many other countries that they did a lot of other traveling at a low cost since they didn't have to fly across the ocean. I think that would be cool :)
a condo by the beach would be a wonderful place to have as a retirement home :)
betty
I would love to live on a farm and have all kinds of animals!

Can I have that cabin in Southern Oregon? We talk about moving there some times and I'd love to live in that cabin in the woods. Great list!
I love that you want to move into Kensington Palace! That cabin in the woods looks pretty awesome too.
Cottage on the beach, cabin in the mountains and maybe a little place in some cute European city.
