1. What advice would you give a
couple getting married?
Talk about everything. It is important to know exactly how your spouse feels. Also when a conversation gets to deep and heated agree to walk away giving it some thought before you continue. Things can look very different the next morning.

2. If you could tell your 16 year old self ONE thing, what would it be?
Love who you are, always wear sunscreen and take care of your skin.
3. What do you do to keep cool in the summer? (AC, windows, fans, swimming, etc.)
3. What do you do to keep cool in the summer? (AC, windows, fans, swimming, etc.)
We use our AC but we keep it set around 78 or 80. Then we use ceiling fans in the rooms.
4. What did you (or your wife) crave most while pregnant?
4. What did you (or your wife) crave most while pregnant?
I never craved anything. I also didn't have morning sickness or stretch marks, however I did have a scare from my belly button down!
5. Who is your favorite TV mom? Why?
5. Who is your favorite TV mom? Why?
I always liked Betty (Jane Wyatt) from Father Knows Best. She always had the best advice for her children. I also liked Wilma from the Flintstones. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a Happy Mother's Day.

Great answers!
I like Wilma from the Flintstone's too, although maybe I have been speaking my mind alittle to much lately! You think I can blame it on cartoons I watched from the past like the Flintstone's? Lol!
I would tell my 16 year old self "don't worry, it will get better..."
No cravings, morning sickness or stretch marks for me either ... but like you, I have a scar all the way down from my belly button! ;-)
We prefer to open the windows, but sometimes it's just too hot for that so we turn the AC on - to 77.
Oh the advice that I could give my 16-year-old self!
Oh yes. I wish I'd worn sunscreen as a teen!
There are a couple of things I would tell my 16 years old self! One.....no sex until you're married! No babies at such a young age! Sigh.....oh, well....AND I wish I had worn sun screen! Man do you pay at this age!!!
I didn't have any cravings either AND no stretch marks which I consider a big plus!
You had some great answers, but you always do!
Communication is so important in a marriage! I craved sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and Minute Maid Pink Lemonade with my son and Milky Way candy bars and chicken wings with Zoe:)
The sunscreen...I would DEFINITELY share that one with my younger self. All those burns. Were we stupid or what when we used to lay out covered in baby oil, cooking oil or even butter!?
hi debbie!
i love all your answers and never thought
about wilma being a favorite TV mom,
but she was awesome!
sounds like you had some pretty great
pregnancies.
happy mother's day,
lea
Your advice to couples getting married is a great one, Debby. I think that should be given to every pastor or counselor doing prenupital counseling!
I hope you have a great Mother's Day!
betty
Love your advice on the sunscreen. Wish I'd have known then what I know now!
1. Except for the times when you don't care how he feels...LOL
2. Work hard to stay fit!
3. I use the AC and ceiling fans too!
4. I didn't have morning sickness or stretch marks either but I did crave different things with each lovely.
5. Clare Huxtable!
I always forget this hop on Fridays!
I love the tell your 16 year old self question. I agree with the sunscreen! I could not pick one thing I would have to have a long talk with my self. LOL :) How awesome no stretch marks!
Wilma was a tough cookie. Gotta respect that. I can't believe you didn't have cravings!
Your AC + fans idea is great! Cool but not like living in a refrigerator!
Amazing how Wilma had Pebbles and walked out of the hospital in the same dress she wore before she got pregnant! ;)
Interesting choices. I wouldn't have thought of Wilma but she is a good choice.
I have stretch marks. Ugh. I craved tacos!
Good advice to the kids, Debby! Happy Mother's Day!....Christine
Always use sunscreen! So true!
I craved watermelon and (yuck) fishsticks.
Great advice! I totally agree with you about talking about EVERYTHING with your partner. My fiancé and I are well known for talking things to death but we have been together for 8 years and counting so it obviously works!
I love your answers as always!
Talking oh boy can that be a deal breaker. Communication can really be a hard one! Even when one likes to talk and the other does not .. lol
