I haven't done a whole lot of investigation here but I do know that a bunch of favorite people who I have been blogging with for a long time have now become No-Reply when they were not before. If I am not responding to your comments then I would check out the below information. You know I am all about being a return commenter. In my opinion I want to talk back and forth through email to you by responding to your comment. This may be the answer......
I recently found out something interesting from my blog friend Stacy over at Stacy Uncorked. Here is an excerpt from her post:
"You know what else is crazy? If you don’t have a blogger blog (as in blogger.com) but maybe used to (like I did) and decided to link your old blogger profile through Google+ (because it’s supposedly the thing to do) you might discover (the hard way) that you are now considered a ‘no-reply’ blogger when you’re leaving comments on blogger blogs. Did you follow all that?"
"The lovely Impulsive Addict was kind enough to hunt me down last week after I left a comment on her Talk To Us Tuesday post when she wasn’t able to reply to my comment – since she had been able to do so in the past, and likes to harass me (which I totally welcome) so I had to do some digging and found out that something was changed either with G+ or Blogger recently that changed the easily replied to status to ‘no-reply’."
"Luckily segregating blogger from G+ and reinstating my contact information did the trick. Let me know if you need help doing the segregation, I’m happy to help you become a reply blogger vs. a ‘don’t bother me’ blogger."
If you think this pertains to you I would love if you could fix this so I can keep the conversations going :) I love how Stacy said "a don't bother me blogger" because that is exactly what I have been thinking!

I've noticed this happening too,l and it drives me CRAZY!! I too LOVE to e-mail back and forth with my bloggy friends.
I don't think I've become a no-reply because every once in a while I leave a comment on my own blog to check.
Here's the thing - - - I am still using the old (two times ago old) blogger interface and whatever they did that messed up OTHER reply bloggers didn't mess with me.
Strange goings on in this G+ world.
If mine turns to no reply someone let me know! :) I Hate not being able to reply to someone's comments! That's how we get to be such great friends! :))
Oh, yes, I stayed with the old interface too....but they put warnings up all the time that they are changing it for good! NOOOOOOOO
Yuck! I have had Blogger issues lately, too. I had to delete and recreate my blog and now I've lot ALL my followers. I'm still at the same address: http://ckeoctober.blogspot.com/

I think mine is okay, because I have been getting emails from bloggers who email responses to comments. I also haven't used G+ since that debacle that deleted all my photos on my blog from G+.
Google + doesn't seem very user-friendly.

Love that you've gone all Autumn-y...means I'm not the only one in the mood. It feels like Fall out there in the evenings and I've started to make just a few small changes in the house. Heck, school starts in a week and a half, that makes it Fall in my book.
This G+ has messed up my photo it dosen't show up on all the blogs I follow. I don't know what to do about this. So far I have had no problem with the no-reply.
that drives me crazy too...someone leaves me a comment ...I want to send them one...it won't let me then I try to find their email address...not there...so then I have to leave another comment on their blog....just nuts...

I didn't understand a word of this. Apart from the fact that now some people are apparently no-reply commenters (which I am not fond of either). I don't think I use Google+, but I am not even sure about that!

Nice clean heading reminds me of quilting material. I have been reading some fun books that center around quilting and this caught my eye.
Like you, I enjoy emailing back and forth after comments. I have learned lots about blogging buddies this way and also gotten to share more than what I write in a post.
