Anymore would be just crazy.......
My birthday turned out to be a wonderful Wednesday. Between Facebook, texting, phone calls and my blog I spent most of the day reading/talking/commenting to all the wonderful wishes for me.
Then Mark and I went out to dinner at Mario's Place in Riverside across from the Mission Inn. We go there almost every year for the office Christmas party and I love their food.
Cherry tomatoes, balsamic and fresh mozzarella.
Wine, steak, green beans, sauteed spinach and we also
had mushroom risotto.
Cheesecake....Happy Birthday to me!
October 3rd
Then on Sunday we had a party with our children. We stayed in and had the Lou Malnati's Pizza that I ordered from Chicago. I also made several snack items for us to enjoy. I had saved all my cards for Sunday. I love all the love I get with cards from family and friends. I must have received over 25 of them.
So I told Mark I would like the low carb cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. I told him to pick it up on Saturday because they keep them frozen and it would be around $28. He said $28.!!! Anyway he comes through the door on Friday with the cheesecake. It's huge and cost him close to $50. I'm like did you listen to me at all. He said the other one only had six slices and I said there are only six of us. Plus Amber doesn't care for cheesecake at all. So yes I have been eating cheesecake all week. Not that I'm complaining but you get the point!
I got two new charms for my Pandora bracelet, gift card for Hallmark and some See's sugar free chocolates, along with some nice checks. Skye got a present too. Adam and Tristen brought it over because she had been sick when we were in Chicago. It was a get well gift. Didn't take her long to unstuff Mr. Bill. Oh No......
Roses were delivered from Mark and the yellow arrangement came from Adam & Tristen with the balloon. They are in a real cute yellow paint can.
Since I haven't been eating any cereal since January I had a few things that were going to expire so I made Rice/Coco Krispie Treats and some Muddy Buddies with white chocolate chips. Besides the berries and snap peas we also had some corn/bean salsa, onion dip and celery sticks. I did have some real chips for those not doing low carb.
