I bought one tree ornament this year: a lovely silver crown! Very expensive, but definitely worth it. It comes from the UK, so I was lucky my sister was coming over (no posting charges that way). It is my second and there will be more of them in the future. But at nearly 100 British pounds per ornament, it will be a one-a-year affair!

I buy hallmark ornaments for several people for Christmas and I need to get busy or they'll all be gone!!
I have the hallmark Christmas ornaments that my grandmother bought me yearly during my childhood. I cherish each and every one.

I never buy ornaments since my mother has been doing that for each of us every year for about a thousand years. LOL How's your sweet daughter doing during the holiday season? I'm thinking of her.

Wow! That's a lot! So far, I have not bought anything new for Christmas this year. I know what you mean about wanting to downsize but finding it hard to get rid of anything. After all, we bought them because we love them....Christine
Looks like a great collection you bought this year to add to your tree!! My hubby's mom always loved to decorate her tree so if he didn't know what to get her for a gift in a particular year, he always knew it was safe to go with an ornament from Hallmark :)

I buy an ornament once in a while, but not even one a year. This year I'm thinking about culling out the ones I don't like.
