I went and searched to see what was current and I only knew about two of them on one list. Then I found a list that had the "Keep Calm" stuff on it which I thought was funny. So the only thing from the two lists that is pretty relevant for me is buying DVD's. The say that within 5 years everything will be streamed and I believe it but I will still be watching my DVD's for many years. Maybe I need to stock up on some DVD players :)
3. Peppermint-are you a fan? If so, what's your favorite food or beverage containing peppermint?
I am not a big fan of peppermint but will eat it if it's around.......

As cold as ice because the people in my house are on thin ice in my opinion! Explain?.....how much time do you have?

Not that I can remember.
6. 'Tis the week before Christmas...are you feeling more like Buddy the Elf or theGrinch before his heart grew?
I would have to say Buddy the Elf. Packages and cards were taken to the P.O. on Monday. All my shopping is done. Meet with a friend on Monday for a fun visit with her and her children, then we went out for dinner.
Had a party at bowling yesterday (which I made green bean casserole for) so basically I am all cleared for enjoying my time until Christmas which means I will decorate a little more, do some baking, wrap presents, find a church for Christmas Eve and watch all my favorite holiday movies. I do have to run out once more for some fresh groceries but that's it!

I am feeling better, rested a lot and didn't turn on my computer. Thank you all for the well wishes. I am going to continue to take a break but hope to visit with each of you over the next few days. Because of my COPD most colds/flu will end up in my lungs which is where it is right now but I've had many, many years of experience with that so it pretty much just has to run its course.

Hey girl! Sorry you've been sick! I just bought a new Dell computer with NO DVD,Disc spot on it. I had heard that DVD's would be out of 'style' before long.... wow, times are changing fast! I def. have a memory of spilling something at a friend's house. When we were kids, my best friend's parents had just put new carpet in their house. I accidentally spilled water on the carpet and I was so afraid that I would get in trouble... I just knew I had ruined it. My friend saw how upset I was, and went to the kitchen, got a small 'pot' of water, and came back and poured it all over the carpet!!! What a friend! A memory I'll never forget!

Happy to find you are feeling better Debby. Our scheduled showing of It's a wonderful life, was cancelled, for a replay of The Sound Of Music with Carrie Underwood! So upsetting...I need to buy the DVD. Merry Christmas Debby.

I"m nearly done with the shopping, but have to tackle the grocery list still. We've had a couple of snow days, so I've enjoyed some quieter calmer days at home. Hope you're all better for Christmas...wishing you a happy happy day!
oh no! Hopefully you get well before Christmas! I've had a horrible cold flu a few years back during Christmas plus cramps, it was NOT fun. ;/ But i managed to make it fun anyway. :) Have a merry Christmas!

First, I am glad that you are feeling better. My MIL has COPD so I know susceptible that makes you to any kind of cold.

I hope you continue to get better! I had no idea DVDs were a fad. I thought they were just a normal part of life. I do think streaming might be better though since streaming can't get scratched haha
If what my son calls "your Satanic apple product" counts - I did jump on the iPhone bandwagon. Which goes with this iMac I'm on, my iPad, and my Macbook Air. Definitely a fad I went with!
