Seems like I'm either going to the show every week or I skip a few weeks. I've been wanting to see Draft Day with Kevin Costner but just haven't been very motivated to leave the house.
I did however see a movie about 11 days ago. I went to see Heaven is for Real and I really liked it. I read the book when it came out and they did a wonderful job with the movie. It is of course based on a true story and I believe the story.
"A small-town father must find the courage and conviction to share his son's extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world."
Mark surprised me on Sunday when he went out to get a car wash and then called to ask me if I wanted to go to the show. He knows I wanted to see The Other Woman and since he saw the trailer the last time we were at the show together he wanted to see it too which made me happy. So that's what we saw yesterday.
The cast of ladies was excellent together and we really enjoyed the movie. So funny!!! I love going to the show and laughing out loud. I will buy this movie when it comes out on DVD.
"After discovering her boyfriend is married, Carly soon meets the wife he's been cheating on. And when yet another affair is discovered, all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on the three-timing SOB."
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

I would watch The Other Woman when it hits DVD - I like light comedies sometimes where I can just relax and laugh.
LOVED Heaven is for Real. Saw that a couple of weeks ago. Glad you enjoyed the other woman. I was afraid it might be one of those where the previews have already shown you all the funny parts, lol. We will probably wait on this one. Enjoy your week!
Thanks for these reviews. I think I'd like to see Heaven is for Real when it comes out on DVD. The book was interesting.
Thanks for the reviews. I always prefer to see a movie when I know that others have liked it.
We went to see "Heaven Is For Real" the same day you did! We hadn't heard of the book, but we loved the movie!
I did read the book "Heaven is for Real" and really enjoyed it. Really makes one pause and think. I'll buy the DVD when it comes out.
I have the book Heaven is for Real and haven't read it.....I think I will try to this week! I really want to see the Other women...I can use a good laugh! Have a wonderful week!
Hi Debby! I have had two people recommend Heaven is Real to read. I have to get over to the library and get on the list for that one. It sounds wonderful. And I have always liked Greg Kinnear, so that will be a treat when I get to the movie too.
So glad you had a fun time seeing The Other Woman. It's not often that you leave a movie with the memory of laughter :)
Have a great Monday!

thanks for the recommendations!
I'm not much of a movie-goer, but I did read that book, "Heaven is for Real." I agree, it was a great story and I believe it. Let's all pray that people give Jesus a second look because of the uplifting and hopeful message of this movie.
GOD BLESS!
I have a friend on FB who was raving about Heaven is for Real.
This made me smile because I am not a big movie goer but I am dying to see BOTH of the movies you reviewed!!! The Other Woman looks hysterical and I loved the book, Heaven is for Real.
they all sound good...it's been too long since we have been out to the movies...but there just hasn't been anything I've been too excited about seeing...these look good
Right now I'm watching Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes; perhaps I should join the 21st century, ya think? LOL
I did hear an interview with the boy from Heaven is Real years ago; did seem believable. I like a movie, like the Other Woman, that makes one laugh and enjoy themselves; glad you and Mark got to see it together!
betty
I'm so excited to see the movie, a lady at my old church gave me the book and I loved it.
Two very different movies but they both look good.
