Not an easy task in Florida.....
The MiFi from Phil is working well here at my dads however I am finding it difficult to read blogs because my dad has the TV loud and he asks a lot of questions. He loves having someone in the house to talk to and I will cherish these moments......
Read blogs or talk with my dad? You know what I picked!
I do however have to point out that I am not unfamiliar with the "F" word and yesterday morning, because my Toshiba netbook runs slower then my computer at home, and because I'm a fast button pusher I ended up "DELETING ALL" again in my reader.....(&%$#)
I haven't really been to the pool much. Well actually when I was typing this yesterday I had not gone yet. I haven't felt like squeezing into my swimsuit.
I have done my Jane Fonda exercise DVD and I have gone on a few early morning walks. Do I really need to sit in the sun?
Funny how we all wanted to have suntans back in the day and now I worry more about skin cancer. Of course you can't beat exercising in the pool!
Here is something you might laugh about. My dad's shower is rather narrow, or at least compared to my shower at home, so I find is very difficult to shave my legs.
So here I am (TMI) naked and putting my foot into the sink. Not a pretty picture and I can't even believe I can still do that!
All I was doing was praying to God "please don't let me fall or have an accident" because you can only imagine how embarrassing this would have been for me to have my dad come in and rescue me.....LOL!
So he said to the guy "You mean to tell me that the modem went out the same day we were told that our service was turned off because we never responded to their letter" and the guy said "Yes, isn't that a strange coincidence!" It sure is....so one day your sending us a $100. gift card and then two weeks later your wanting it back!
So as of yesterday Mark has us set up with a bundle from Time Warner who already does our cable. We are getting 3 new DVR boxes with new remotes plus two converter boxes for TV's that are just direct cable because when they change their channel line up, which has been delayed, those TV's will need a box.
So we paid $109. dollars a month for phone and cable with AT&T and we have been paying $180. dollars a month for Time Warner cable. They are giving us the bundle (probably for a year) for $139. a month. It includes all of our premium channels . Goodbye AT&T.......
Of course none of this is happening until Sunday July 13th but we have our trip to Mammoth Lakes on July 5th and Phil told us we can continue to use his MiFi until we are all linked up with Internet :)
Dad and I went to the Hard Rock Casino on Monday in Tampa and I won $250. dollars twice. That was fun! We hope to go again....maybe on Monday. Also I've hardly taken any pictures with my camera....what's up with that????
What 91 years old looks like!
We have a graduation party tomorrow for my great-niece Amanda which should be fun. They are expecting about 50 people!
Also we had some delicious Gyro's last night which I didn't document with a photo either. It's like I'm suddenly not a blogger.....
Hope you have a lovely weekend!

LIFE is much more important than blogging and photography.. enjoy LIFE and family while you can.. your dad looks great... what a deal on your TW... good luck.
Sounds like you are enjoying your dad...good for you!
Your dad is a handsome fellow!!! 91 - that's awesome!!!
Your dad looks GREAT!
When I go to Vegas, I want you to meet me there 'cause you definitely have the luck!
You Dad is very handsome! I hope you're having a great time with him! He looks great for 91.
I wish my dad looked as good at 91.
I had to laugh out loud at your line about suddenly not being a blogger. Ha!
I love all your little comics today. Especially the swim suit one. Made me smile..
Just relax and enjoy your father. Blogging will be there whenever you're ready again.
I've enjoyed my less blogging lately and now I'm more ready for it again. I think I've actually blogged all 5 days this week. Very rare anymore!!
Have a great weekend my friend!
My dad is 87 years old and I would love to spend more time talking to him than being on a computer. Keep your Dad company.
I love gyro's! Love them. Spend time talking with your dad. Ask him everything and anything you can think of that you might want to know. Swim. Have fun. And you should see me shaving my legs these days - right there with you.
Your dad looks great at 91!! very handsome. I am with you on the tanning thing... I tell everyone that it's 'now cool to be white', because of all the sun cancer fear. That's what I like to believe, anyway. ;) ;) I hope you get your internet stuff straightened out soon... I can only imagine how frustrating it has been for you!
Your dad looks great, Debby! Definitely spending time with him is the better option than reading blogs! You will always treasure the time spent with him. What a run around with the internet, but glad there's an end in sight to getting your new company! Do you like the Jane Fonda exercise DVD? I'm thinking of getting some DVDs for exercise.

After the FL heat, the heat isn't so bad back at home.
Glad you got your tv/internet service figured out. We dumped the one we had years ago because of the same thing. Our internet kept dropping and they couldn't get it fixed. When the last guy came out, the clean up the problems man, he found the issue (that they knew was there when we moved in but didn't take care of) and fixed it but we already had new service coming in the next day. Too little, too late.
Your dad does not look his age at all!
Your Dad is very handsome for 90ish. Bless him. We recently gave up on At&t and my poor mom in Florida went through the ringer with them.
The customer service is horrific.
Have a nice weekend and a great trip.

Hi Debby,
Wanted to let you know I'll be back to blogging really soon.
I ordered my book to review today.
I loved reading your post and the graphics are wonderful!
Here in Georgia hubby & I keep saying our weather is much life Fl, raining when the sun is out...LOL
We no longer have cable, because the price went up dramatically. So we can only watch what is on the internet. Not much...
Your dad looks great at 91!
There is NO WAY your dad is 91. No. Way. That whole ATT thing would have me infuriated. I hate it when they do crap like that. And they never admit to anything. Never. Just like Wal-Mart. LOL
Just have a good time and enjoy. Your dad looks good for 91.
Enjoy your dad, you are lucky to still have him in your life!
Hi Debby! Just do 'life' and blogging can come in a distant second. It's fun to hear what you are doing, although I'm sorry about the computer erasing...that would make me cry!
Loved the leg-shaving story! That would totally be me!

I giggled at the idea of your dad having to rescue your naked self.
Sounds like you are having a great time with the visit, though!
