AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, MAY I ASK ?

It's been nine days since I've posted anything. I can't believe I didn't even put up a generic Merry Christmas post to all of you.  That's how busy I was. Everyday I spent hours and hours on our Christmas decorations, shopping, wrapping, baking, etc, etc, etc.......

If you follow me on Facebook you know what I have been up to since I posted pictures as I accomplished each item. I want to give a big thank you to my husband Mark who wrapped all the presents on Christmas Eve which took me three hours to get into boxes the day before.

He went to church with me which is a rare occasion and also watched White Christmas with me after he wrapped the gifts. He helped out on Christmas Day with vacuuming and helping in the kitchen too. Can I get a Hallelujah !

I wanted to get pictures up on Christmas Day but I didn't have one moment free let alone time to write a post.  I was literally decorating my mini tree Christmas morning just a few hours before the kids arrived!

I also need to say that Adam and Tristen decided that they will come over tonight (Friday) to spend the night before they take off for the Grand Canyon tomorrow as they drive to Pittsburgh this week while sightseeing along the way. That means I didn't have to say goodbye last night. I get to love them some more tonight. Can I get another Hallelujah !

We had a very Merry Christmas!

My dad insisted I get the sweaters for Pittsburgh.....

Hope your holiday was Merry and Bright!

Skye and I want to send our love to our dear
friend Ann who lost her precious Boston Terrier Sadie
to a tragic accident on Christmas Day. My heart aches
for her and her family. Keep them in your prayers.

Dear Debby, I loved seeing Christmas at your house-I also love that our buffet's and dining room set looks to be the same vintage style. I'm going over to Ann's to send some hugs.
I've been dealing with a health issue the last couple of weeks, so have been slow to get around.
Hugs, Noreen

Sounds like a very busy Christmas indeed! Love your Christmas dishes and of course, Skye. What a cutie! I am sorry to hear of your friend's loss. My faithful dog has been gone 1 1/2 years and I still miss him so much.

Oh, my goodness, I cannot imagine putting that many decorations up and I sure can't imagine taking them down. Glad you got everything accomplished and had some help with it. Happy New Year!

Love the pics Debby. Is that a Westie in the pics? Did Skye have a playmate?

Happy 2015!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! (As per instruction by you)

It sounds that you had a great Christmas, despite it being very busy and last-minute. I think I only put out about 30% of all my Christmas decorations out this year. I was a bit afraid of how Oswin would react to everything. Besides there are a few places in the house where I would like to have decorations, but Oswin is using as her look-out-to-the-world places!

On to New Year's now!!

Merry Christmas Late! Your decorations are fabulous. I thought I went all out with two nativities and three trees. Wrong I am. I love the Santas.

I took some time away from blogging, too.
Not only did it give me time for cooking & being with family, I also had time to catch up on reading blogs & books.

I love all your decorations! However, I wouldn't have enough room to store them. My favorites are the snow globes. I love snow globes & music boxes.

Wow!! I did not know about wooden ironing boards.

Have a great week! xoxo
