FYI:
I have a post coming up tomorrow about the frustrating things that have happened this week. A couple of days where I got out of bed on the wrong side or probably just should have stayed in bed!
The post is rather long and I mentioned that I hope I don't have to go in and update it. So rather than go in and update the already long post I'm going to tell you what I just learned today in hopes that it won't happen to you.
I still haven't picked out a program for my Chromebook 2 to put my photos into. Of course Google+ Photo is available and already on it. So today I thought I would look at the photos and see what the Google + Photos is like. It has every possible photo you have ever posted on your blog posts.
I wasn't paying real good attention and I thought there were several things that I should just delete. Like when I download a photo of a movie poster for my review I don't need to keep it in my regular photos on my computer so I will often trash them later.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO TRASH ANYTHING IN THE GOOGLE+ PHOTO PROGRAM!!!
When you delete a photo from this application it also deletes it from your post or wherever you linked it to. I just went back and had to add all the movie posters to my last movie review post.
LESSON LEARNED......

yup. been there; done that. i did it thru picasa web albums (where google stores their photos) and ended up deleted several months from my blog. back then, i took the time to rebuild the posts, but now i'd just chalk it up to my own carelessness and forgetaboutit. :)
I've done the same thing with Picasa's web albums. 😒
Well that kinda scary and very inconvenient, but I guess it makes sense. It will certainly make me think twice about deleting anything.
Ugh, so, so aggravating! Can't wait to read tomorrow's post. Happy weekend!
Oh my gosh that is scary - I wonder if they do that in Picasa - I bet so. Can't wait to see what you write tomorrow.
oh my.. all my photos are in Picasa and of course google plus, i am just not a member of plus. a few years ago a blogger decided to make more space so she did not have to pay for storage, she went in Picasa and deleted a lot of photos. which mean every photo diapered off her blog and she had no way to put them back because she did not know what was missing.
OH CRAP I didn't know that!!! Thanks for the heads up!
