I am on my way to Florida (Tampa) today to visit with my dad and family. I'm looking so forward to seeing everyone. I have arranged a pizza party night with everyone on Thursday to celebrate my dad's 92nd birthday. Mark is coming to town for a few days and we have our anniversary on Wednesday the 24th.
I am flying through Denver today and have a 5 hour layover. I know that sounds crazy but rather than take 3 flights I decided to take two with the long layover. That way I don't have to worry about delays and catching flights. I will enjoy my time and go have a nice meal while I'm waiting and go through the stores which I always enjoy!
I arrive in Florida at 8:30 pm, my sister and brother in law will be picking me up and then we will head over to my dad's. They only live a few miles from each other.
My time on the computer will be scarce the next 17 days. I do plan on being online and joining in with Wednesday Hodgepodge but not sure how much post reading I will do. I want to relax, swim, go for walks and enjoy each day to the fullest with my father. I bring DVD's so we can watch a movie each night.
How blessed I am to be able to
be with my dad tomorrow......
P.S. My most favorite summer show Big Brother will have to be on the back burner until I get home. Hopefully I will be able to watch a few On Demand. My dad doesn't have a DVR :(
