We had a nice time at the Lavender Festival on June 13th. We walked around all the little shops and booths. Walked through the Lavender fields and had a wonderful lunch. (The Menu) I had the Grand Oaks Sausage with Sauerkraut, Mark had the Beef Brisket Sandwich and Amber had Garbanzo Burger.
Some old rusty equipment.....
Huge agave plant....
The Lavender Fields
They were not super dark in color.....
but boy did they smell awesome!
There are some white lavender flowers in the front
of this next shot. I didn't even know they existed!
To avoid people in my shots, rooftops or roads
I couldn't take any super long field shots!
Later we had some Lavender Cheesecake, Lavender Ice Cream and Lavender Lemonade! All were very yummy and delicious!
Bought myself a Lavender plant, Organic Culinary Lavender, Organic Lavender Honey and a sachet for Mark's undies drawer!!! We even got some Lavender purse size spray hand sanitizers.
I am currently in Florida with my dad and family until July 7th! Hope all is well with everyone. Hugs to you.....
