Mark and I went to see Self/Less and this movie was very good. We were not sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it.
"A dying real estate mogul transfers his consciousness into a healthy young body, but soon finds that neither the procedure nor the company that performed it are quite what they seem."
A few days later we went to see Trainwreck. Yes this movie is kinda dirty in places but we laughed so hard. We thought it was very entertaining.
"Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy."
I went to see Paper Towns which is a teen movie like The Fault in Our Stars which is a favorite of mine. This movie was a little slow in parts but definitely worth seeing. I really enjoyed this movie.
"A young man and his friends embark upon the road trip of their lives to find the missing girl next door."
On Tuesday I went to see Ant-Man. I am a fan of Paul Rudd and it looked like it would be a fun movie to see. I have to admit that I really enjoyed this movie, it was definitely entertaining and funny! (Stay while the credits are rolling, there is something else to see)
"Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world."
On Thursday I went to see Mr. Holmes. This movie was delightful. Ian McKellen was excellent. The little boy in the movie, Milo Parker as Roger, was so charming and cute!
"An aged, retired Sherlock Holmes looks back on his life, and grapples with an unsolved case involving a beautiful woman."
Hope your enjoying your weekend.....

I haven't seem any of these on at our theater. I am going to be watching for a few of them, they sounds good. May just go to the movies by myself.
self/less sounds intriguing!
Thanks for your review about Mr. Holmes, Debby; we were thinking of seeing it, but wasn't sure; now probably will :)
betty
Never thought of going to see Ant Man - maybe Andy 14 would like that? What do you think? I am waiting for the 7th to see Meryl in Ricki and the ? I forgot but it looked good. Thanks.
Sounds like you enjoyed your choices. Wishing you a very nice evening.
thanks for the reviews.
I cant believe my super hero marvel loving husband hasn't been to see Antman yet
Thanks again for sharing you thoughts on the movies you see. Some of them sound pretty good.
I love Paul Rudd but wasn't interested in seeing the movie. Maybe i'll give it a try. I have not even heard of Selfless. Hmmm! I do like Ryan Reynolds. I could see Trainwreck again. I thought it was so funny! I also want to see the movie with Meryl and Rick Springfield. That's her real daughter playing her daughter in the movie.
I saw Amy Schumer on Jimmy Fallon the other night. And yes, she's a bit *off-color* - but really, really funny! And, I am a huge fan of mysteries, and I really like Sherlock Holmes. I've enjoyed reading the original stories, and also more recent ones where his character has been revived for new plots. I'm most interested in seeing this movie.
Thanks for the great reviews!
