We are having a nice time with Adam and Tristen. Love their apartment, love their new Acura RDX and we are loving Pittsburgh. We had no idea how awesome the topography is here!
We had an amazing dinner Thursday night at a place called Casbah which was delicious. Boy do I enjoy going out to eat at nice restaurants. Yesterday Tristen had to work but Adam took time off to show us around Pittsburgh. We started out with breakfast at Pamela's Diner which is a very popular spot to eat at.
We went up to a view area so we could get a great view of Pittsburgh, the rivers and the bridges. Then we walked around a beautiful park close to the rivers and then headed over to The Strip District which is a unique shopping area.
Then we hung out at their apartment until it was time to pick up Tristen and head out to our dinner reservation at Avenue B. Another fabulous restaurant with fabulous food. I will have pictures when I get home.
Today we have some plans to see Tristen's office and a few things on campus. Then we are going back to their place to watch some football and have lunch. Then I believe we are going to the Phipps Conservatory in the afternoon.
Later we have dinner plans at a place called Eleven for my birthday dinner. I'm excited to see what this place is like. I am certainly being treated like a queen........a queen who will definitely be on a diet when she gets home!
