Okay I had to give up and let it go. I actually have a knot in my shoulder. I always do my blog posts in the "justify" setting. I like everything to be even. I went over this and redid it from the beginning and I cannot for the life of me get the first 3 questions to be justified, they will only center. Believe me I know how to fix it because there can be issues each week, this one was not fixable!
Volume 242
Head on over and join in!
Thank you Joyce.....
1. Besides Thanksgiving, something you're looking forward to on your November calendar?
Well our November calendar started with three days in Carlsbad, CA at the beach. Next up will be Mark's birthday on November 18th!
2. If I gave you a thank you card right now who would you send it to and why?
Probably my Dad. He is always there for me, always builds me up when I'm down. Relates to what I am going through with our daughter because my mom was the same way. Gives me a pep talk when I bowl a 98! He also goes out of his way, at 92, to still help people when they ask.
3. Of the breads listed, which one's your favorite...bagel, cinnamon, sourdough, garlic, banana, biscuit, pita, Naan, or plain old fashioned white bread?
I'm going to say sourdough although I just had a bagel at the continental breakfast at the hotel.
4. What's something you have in abundance? Is that a good thing?
Ornaments and yes that is a good thing until Mark retires and we downsize. I will have to short through them and keep about half which would be in the neighborhood of 500+.

5. November 5th is National Love Your Red Hair Day. Are there any redheads in your family? Who's your favorite redhead?
No redheads in the family that I can think of. Maybe a strawberry blonde. Of course Lucille Ball comes to mind. Right now I would have to say I really like Emma Stone.
6. The travel website Busbud recently calculated the most Instagrammed spot in every state. Go here to see what made the list where you live. Are you happy with your state's #1? If not what do you think should be the most photographed spot in your state? Have you snapped a photo there? If you live outside the USA answer as it relates to your state, city or province.
I can certainly can understand why Disneyland would be Instagrammed the most in California! I would have picked places that Ansel Adams has photographed and yes I have taken photos of several of them and not just in California!
7. I'm going to try to have something related to gratitude in this spot each week during the month of November. Here's this week's question........What's something you've learned about yourself this year that you're grateful for?
I'm alive and that's a beautiful thing!
8. My random left the building........it was here when I started this post!

I said Lucille Ball. I hope your days are wonderful at the beach. It's still raining here, and I'm still loving it. My sister's birthday is the 18th too. Happy birthday to Mark.
Grateful to be alive was a good answer!!!!
Hi,
Love the grateful to be alive!! Yes, I agree.
Lucille Ball, yes, I do love her too.
Have a blessed week,
Carla
I just hate when blogger goes wonky and will not do what it has always done. it just has fits, like your missing random. it has a mind of its own. the good news is i love centered more than justified so i am happy... lol
when i read these questions on another blog this morning i knew your answer to number 4 before i got here....i have nothing in over abundance, unless it is the amount of time i waste on this computer.
my spine doc visit is the day after your dads birthday and i can't wait for it to get here. hope your leg is better
It is so neat that your dad at 92 is still out there willing to help others when asked :) I know it will be hard for you to sort through what ornaments to save and what to keep; I'm sure difficult choices will have to be made during that time.
betty
Blogger can drive me bonkers sometimes, too, Debby...hope you get things figured out soon! Your dad sounds pretty darn amazing to be 98! I agree...being alive is definitely something for which to be grateful!
That's a plethora of Christmas decorations girl! If it makes you happy, enjoy it! Wow, your dad seems amazing! I am sure he continues to go and do. We need to all take a lesson from him! Stopping from the HP!
Enjoyed your post - don't worry about getting things 'justified'! Nice you would write your dad a thank you.
My daughter has red hair. I am looking forward to the Veteran's day concert tomorrow that my grandson will be singing in.
Glad you are alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good answers
MAMA Bear
dropping by from hodgepodge, and yes, Lucille Ball!
Yep being a live is a great answer. I like my blog to look just so but sometimes I do give up if it's taking too long! Enjoy your break.
The Internet can be awfully cranky sometimes. It reads fine, so I wouldn't stress about it. I hope you're having a wonderful time at the beach. I am enjoying your pics on FB!
Not being able to justify when I wanted to justify would make the OCD half of brain insane!! I hope your beach time rested your brain enough to keep it out from under your skin. ;) hehe
I looked at all the states, especially the ones I've been to, to see if I had photos of the tor IG attractions. I have Wrigley Field and Orioles Park (I do well when the top Instagram spot is a baseball park!) But I've never been to The Cincinnati Zoo. I have photographs of both major league ball parks in our state and most of the minor League parks too, but no Cincinnati zoo.
I didn't realize your hubby's b'day was only 5 days after my hubby's. How about that?!
I can't stand to think about getting rid of any of my Christmas stuff. Sometimes I'll pass a few things down to my daughter, so I can still enjoy them at her house, but she's running out of room, too. What's a person to do?
Your dad sounds awesome. Treasure him while he's here.
I love what you said about your dad. My dad wasn't the most demonstrative guy, but he was always strong and willing to give advice. I miss him so much sometimes.
Thanks for sharing - and I didn't even notice that you were *un*justified!!
GOD BLESS!
big blog hug sent to your dad. :)
Ornaments! I have too many also! I never use them all each Christmas. I have some that I bought/collected for my daughters each year - and now that they are out of the house & have their own places I'd like to pass them along. BUT - they tell me they like to come "home" and see their special ornaments on our tree. I'd really like to down-size but it sure is hard!
I had a few issues with the pic and text myself last night. Finally switched out, chose a different pic and then everything worked again. Maybe I need to justify my text. It might be better when I have my blog printed. Ornaments? I could use some new ones. I'm not randy to think about Christmas trees.
You're so lucky to still have your dad so attentive. What a blessing!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who struggles with 'justify' and 'center.' I mean, in the big picture? But it still irks the **** out-a me!
That's so sweet about writing a thank you to your daddy! (Does he read your blog?) For some reason, he looks very familiar! Who knows, we may have brushed shoulders one day at the Lucky Dill Deli!
good answers.
I love justify as well. And I know you can get very annoyed by it not doing as you want it to! I hope it sorts itself for the future!
Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I have had several issues to figure out. I am too old for this! LOL.
Happy Birthday to Mark!
Big hugs.
I love the question about the thank you card. It's always so important to stop and remember all of the positive things in your life. I would send my card to my cousin Erik for helping us move to Idaho and keeping me sane!
Sounds like sorting through your ornaments will be quite a project!
Absolutely love what you wrote about your Dad. Good stuff for me to remember when I interact with my daughter.
So thankful you have your dad's love and understanding. I hope things improve soon. xo
I love your dad!
