Volume 268
Thank you Joyce!
1. Tell us about one fun thing on your June calendar.
Visiting my father and family in Florida. We will be celebrating my dads 93rd birthday!
2. How careful are you in the sun? Do you tan or burn? Do you make it a point to see the dermatologist every year?
I am very careful in the sun. I will tan nicely but I definitely wear sunscreen. Truthfully I am going to go see a dermatologist for the first time in July.
3. Describe a time when you wanted to 'throw in the towel'?
I'm ready to throw in the towel quite often these days so no particulars to share.
4. What's a song you love that has a day of the week in the title or lyrics?
The very first song that popped into my head was Monday, Monday by The Mama & the Papas.
5. Are you a fan of berries? Which one's your favorite? What's the most recent berry dish you've eaten? Which blueberry breakfast food appeals to you most-blueberry pancakes, blueberry yogurt, or a blueberry muffin?
Yes I love berries. I made a lovely Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Bread that we took to Arizona. I would probably pick blueberry yogurt but I'm more of a blackberry person.
6. What's something you want to do before your next birthday?
I haven't got a clue!
7. June 1st is National Say Something Nice Day, so let's all say something nice here.
Love you guys, thanks for being my blog friend.....
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Michele and Pam's dog Stanley (in Arizona) helping with the dishes!

Stanley is a great kitchen helper! I can't believe your dad is turning 93, it seems like it was just his 90th birthday. I know you will enjoy seeing him.

LOL; my dogs have been known to do that if I don't close the door in time. :)))
Your dad will be 93 that is awesome - i hope everyone has a great time. I love lemon and blueberries. And you have never been to a dermatologist? Crazy girl!

Happy birthday to your dad! How lucky you are to still have him in your life. I hope you have a wonderful time visiting with family and enjoying Florida!
Happy to hear that you're going to see a dermatologist! I've had skin cancer once before, so I go in annually for a skin check and today was my day. All clear!:)
93! A very happy birthday celebration with your dad! The dog helping with dishes is funny.
What a funny picture!
I cant see Abby helping with the dishes bless her she couldn't hold the weight of a plate she is so small. Happy Birthday to your dad.
Laughing at Stanley! lol
How exciting to be visiting with and celebrating your dad's 93rd birthday soon.
Your lemon blueberry bread sounds so good to me.
Have a nice evening. Thankful for your blog friendship, too!
I remember when it was your dad's 90th and you collected cards for him, so sweet. What fun to be able to go and celebrate his 93rd. I hope you all have a wonderful time!
It's hard to believe another year has passed, and it's time for your dad's birthday again. I hope you have a great trip and a wonderful visit with him.

I was thinking "Monday, Monday" as well!
Oh, your nephew (Stanley) is so stinkin' cute!
Wishing your dad a very HAPPY 93rd ....wow! I bet he'll be delighted having you near.
PS - Say, don't forget Felice's Deli in Palm Harbor -- fresh-made mozerella every morning. (Yes, I misspelled it; and dang, but my taste buds are going amok!)
I'm visiting my Hodgepodge neighbors of whom you are one. Happy Birthday to your dad! That's great that he's turning 93 years old! Your song choice seems to be popular among Hodgepodgers. Stanley is so helpful! Good for Stanley. Enjoy the rest of your week!
We picked the same song. I loved Monday MOnday. Have fun with your dad. We just got back from Florida....and I am ready to go again.
Monday, Monday - I loved the Mamas and the Papas.
Hope you have a great trip to Florida.
