On September 21st I went to see Bridget Jones's Baby. I enjoyed the movie, it was entertaining. I don't think it was as good as I wanted it to be but definitely worth seeing if your a fan of the Bridget Jones movies!
"Bridget's focus on single life and her career is interrupted when she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch ... she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby's father."
On September 27th I went to see The Light Between Oceans. I liked this movie. It is definitely filled with emotion.
"A lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat."
On October 12th I went to see The Magnificent Seven with Mark. This movie was very good and the cast was awesome. If you like Westerns I think you would enjoy this one. I don't remember the original one at all.
"Seven gun men in the old west gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves."

I read the book The Light Between the Oceans. It was really good. Haven't seen the movie though.
We nearly went to see the Magnificent Seven this afternoon. In retrospect, I wish we'd chosen that vs. Girl on a Train.

I think the Light Between the Oceans sounds good. Might have to read the book. I do like your movie reviews. We rarely see a movie these days due to schedules, but did rent and see the current Jungle Book the other day, enjoyed it immensely :)

We went to two movies over the weekend! We saw Deep Water Horizon and Sully. Both were "feel-good" with a good story and hero. Mag Seven is next on the list.
I hadn't heard much about the first two you mentioned. It sounds like I need to go to the movie again this weekend.

I was so worried about that with Bridget Jones. Just like my Big Fat Greek 2, just wasn't what I thought!
I loved Light Between the Oceans in book form. I've heard good things about the film, so maybe I'll see it once it's out of theatres. No real time for movies right now but hopefully once we're moved and settled we'll get back to some things like that.
