~ CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES ~
I don't watch baseball. I can't even remember watching any other World Series games. But I've been watching this year because I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago and I couldn't help but support them.
What a fun treat is was for me to watch the last few games here with my dad in Florida. Yes we stayed up past 1 am last night and what a game it was!! A night I will never forget........

That last game was the most exciting thing I've seen in a long time. Who doesn't love baseball!! And those Cubs! 108 years. Congratulations to them.
I did not see the game but am so happy for the Cubs for their big win. congrats to Chicago Cubs and also to their host city... I do love when the underdog wins and wins this big...

Tho' not necessarily a Cubbies fan - he's a SOUTH-side fella, after all - my hubs enjoyed seeing a long-overdue win! We were going back and forth between the game and the CMA awards, but when Joey&Rory didn't win and then game went into overtime I couldn't feign interest any longer and took myself to bed.
Time spent with your daddy like that is priceless.

I can recall hours of watching the cubs play ball when I was a kid. Of course my dad was right beside me. I would love to have been able to watch this world series with my dad so happy that you did

The top of the 10th inning was the best! I'm not much of a baseball fan either, but something about rooting for the Cubs in the World Series was fun. Glad they won! What a fun time for you too to be with your dad celebrating!

It was so late for us in Central time...and even later in Eastern time! I'm glad you were able to watch the game, though. It was very exciting!

What a great memory you made with your dad. Suspect you will never forget that time when you both stayed up late. I think the country (maybe not Cleveland fans) were pulling for the Cubs.
My husband stayed up to watch the end of that game just because of it's historic nature. Me, I went to sleep!
Quite an achievement and well deserved after over a century.
I grew up in a baseball family but I don't watch it myself. It sounds like it was an exciting one though.
