No hodgepodge today and no desire to write about New York or Florida. I guess you could say I'm a bit down but hopeful things will get better soon.
It is normal to be down after being in the hospital and dealing with a new illness.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
Just so you know, my time with my dad was short but extra sweet!
Had my second gel injection in my knee on Monday. No relief yet. I am very concerned about decorating the house for Christmas. That is weighing heavy on my heart along with a few other things I will share soon.
Skye is getting groomed today so at least I am getting out of the house for something other than a doctor's appointment. Haven't had time to see a movie :(
I will be going to bowling on Thursday but probably won't bowl but we have a birthday lunch to celebrate and I need a pedicure.
I also have a baby shower to attend on Saturday which should be fun. I'll be meeting Adam's girlfriends mom for the first time!

How fun with the baby shower and the opportunity to meet the mom. I am sure you will get along fine. I am sorry it has been a tough time for you. Dealing with health issues is hard. This year you might need to prioritize what you do for the holidays and decorating. Sometimes it is freeing to give some things up and start new traditions.

if you are not seeing movies I know you are way down.. tough to bowl with bad knees
How nice to hear Adam has a girlfriend. Hope it will all go well for him! And her of course!!
And hoping of course that you will soon feel like your old self, reviewing new films I will probably never go and see even though you make them sound really good.
Hey Debby! I hope you are feeling better today. I'd been seeing post on facebook when you were with your dad; glad you were able to see him again. Have a happy day!
SO glad you had a great visit with your dad!! Today would have been Daddy's birthday. I miss him so much.
Just dont overdo it and hurt yourself more. Recruit your family to help with your Christmas vision.
Take care! Hugs. xoxo
I am glad that you had a good time with your father! I hope your knee feels better soon.
I am sorry to hear about your knee. My hubby has been having to get shots in his back. Hope you get better soon.
I like your to do list. I need one like that. Call me weird but I have always hated baby showers. Hope your knee is feeling better soon
Sorry to hear that you are down. Hope things get better for you soon. Sounds like you have fun stuff to do.
So sorry you're going through a rough patch right now, Debby. I'm certainly no pych, but I urge you to honor your feelings and come to terms ...in your own time. (So sez the lady who championed internalizing everything, thinking they'd go away. Ha!)
That's pretty cool about meeting Adam's gf's mom. Feeling the positivity! :)))
So very sorry you are feeling bad/overwhelmed. Sending a prayer your way. xo
Yes, it is absolutely normal to feel a little down! I bet the next few days will help you feel better. I'm glad you were able to spend some time with your dad!
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
I hope your knee is doing better! I so know the knee pain :(
