Volume 316
~Thank you Joyce~
1. Do you try to set rules for yourself about how you use your time? Explain.
Not really except for the days I have to leave the house and I have a lot of stops to make. I make a list of each step I need to take to accomplish everything I am set out to do!
2. Monday was National Lighthouse Day. Have you ever visited a lighthouse? If not, do you have any desire to see one up close? Of the 10 Most Beautiful that made this list which would you most like to see in person-
I have seen a few lighthouses, the one I remember the most is in Santa Cruz, CA where Adam went to college. If I had the opportunity I would love to take a trip visiting lighthouses along the coast.
Lindau Lighthouse (Germany), Fanad Lighthouse (Ireland), Portland Head Light (Maine), Yaquina Bay Light (Oregon) The St. Augustine Light (Florida), Peggys Point Lighthouse (Canada), Start Point Lighthouse (England), Tower of Hercules (Spain), Bass Harbor Head Station (Maine), and White Shoal Light (Michigan)
When you've been away, what's your 'lighthouse' telling you you're on the right road home?
That is an interesting question which I don't have an answer for! Obviously there would most likely be some familiar sights along the road.
3. What have you unintentionally stopped doing? Is this something you need to pick back up and begin again, or is it something you need to let go of for now (or even permanently)?
I guess my brain isn't working today because the answer is not coming to mind.
4. We've had a full week of August. Share a GRAND moment from your month so far.
Last Saturday I went with Gabby for her bridal gown dress fitting. It was a special moment for us to hang together. Then we meet Mark and Adam for a fabulous lunch at Smoqued California BBQ in downtown Orange.
5. Tell us one song you love with the word 'baby' in the title.
Of course when a question like this is presented my mind goes totally blank. There is the always famous "Rockabye Baby", Eddy Cantor's "Yes Sir, That's My Baby" and maybe Barbara Lewis' "Baby I'm Yours".

I make a list when I have several stops to make, too. It's amazing how much faster I can get things done that way.
Hahahaha! Your random thought is spot on! So nice you went with Gabby for the fitting. That's a special time. I drew blanks on today's questions too. It took me most of yesterday to get them answered. LOL Have a great day!
I have no answers for any of these today. the only one is the first one. about Time. our lives are run by the clock, we are regimented and do the same thing at the same time every single day.
I may have seen 3 lighthouses in my life but not because I looked for them, they were there when I drove by.
Love your random thought! Okay I do set some rules for me. I do the same thing I do lots of stops I have to make some today too. You have seen a lot of lighthouses. Nice. I bet it was awesome going with Gabby for her bridal dress - sweet. Sandie
LOVE your random.
How fun that you and Gabby have a special relationship. That is a blessing!!

I have to set rules about time, especially with working and how much time I spend on the computer, otherwise nothing else will get done :)
How sweet with the dress fitting; making memories with your soon to be DIL!
betty
Bless your heart. I had a hard time thinking of something I unintentionally quit doing. I love that random! It's fun to go shopping for wedding dresses with someone you love.
Debby, I'm so glad that you and Gabby had a nice time out - and later eating dinner with the guys. A special time, I'm sure. I laughed at the poster. It's so true, isn't it! :-)
I'm chuckling at your random thought. How fun to have a wedding coming up. I''m a list maker and always think it's helpful to think through your route! Downtown Orange is a fun part of town to poke around in. Happy Wednesday Hodgepodge to you!
I don't set rules for time but I do make sure I run and practice French every single day.
I used to sort of have rules for myself. I had my days veryscheduled. Now I pretty much play it by ear
How fun that you were able to be part of the dress shopping adventure! Your random thought-ha! So true : )
How fortunate, (that) Gabby invited you to join her for the fitting! It sounds as if the two of you have forged a great relationship. Blessed!
Hi Debby,
Rules, What's rules? LOL
I try to set some basic rules, but I tend to always overextend myself.
I have been to a few lighthouses. The most recent was Tybee Island, Ga.
And that was over 20 years ago :)
I love your answer to #6
Have a great week!!
How special that Gabby let you go along to her wedding dress fitting! I love that!
I love the song "Baby I'm Yours".
There is much truth (for me) in your random thought :)
