Thank you Joyce

1. What title would you give this current chapter of your life?
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
2. December 6 is National Microwave Oven Day. Who knew? Besides popcorn and coffee reheats, what's the most common thing you microwave? Could you get along without a microwave?
Well I don't do popcorn or coffee reheats in the microwave! Most common is probably bacon which my husband makes pretty often. It is usually used for heating up leftovers. I think that I could live without one but I do like the convenience of it.
3. If you could insert yourself into any Christmas carol and experience the lyrics in real life, which Christmas carol lyric would you choose and why?
So I found a list of Christmas Carols here because I needed a list!! I'm going with "White Christmas." This is what I wish for everyone....

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be whit
4. Describe the most beautiful drive you've ever taken.
We have been on a lot of beautiful drives over the years. I'm going to go with our last two drives to visit Amber and Dylan in Great Fall, MT. It is filled with beauty the whole way.

5. What's something on your Christmas list this year? (an actual list or figuratively speaking, either one)
I really don't have a list this year. Of course I always want my family to be healthy and happy.

Mark and I are buying a Blue-ray player for the family room that has all the streaming features you get with the newer TV's like my TCL with Roku.
My new tree is all decorated and I love it! I am going to show you what it looks like without the ornaments on it. The way it is shaped I can weave the ornaments in and out which lets me put more on the tree.
We have decided to go down to one tree as part of getting ready to downsize. It is a 7 1/2 ft. Alberta Blue Spruce. My plan was to pick my favorites and start to downsize my ornament collection.
I thought it would be impossible to do but it turned out to be easy because it held so many!!

That's a good title for your current chapter. mine might be about the same. I like your choice of carols too. That's one of my favorites. Your new tree looks nice.
I love the tree and I love the picture you posted of it all decorated, too. I've got a few containers of ornaments I can't use anymore because the room I used to put up a second tree is being used for other things now. I'm going to let the girls go through them this year and take what they want. I just knew you'd choose the drive to visit Amber. I would love to see all the beauty on that drive. I don't have a list this year, either.
I use my microwave for reheats of food, coffee to make hot water for tea bags, popcorn and the only thing I cook in it is meatloaf. it makes the best meatloaf in 20 minutes.
unless their is a Christmas Carol about beaches and Florida I am not interested. no cold, no snow wanted. sunshine and blue skies.. I would love to ride the Christmas Train to out west that was in the movie.. does that count?
your new tree is really beautiful
Pretty tree! Ours looks much like it. I too enjoy putting the ornaments deep on the branches as well as on the ends.
Reheat coffee? I don't think I have ever heard of anyone doing that. I use it mainly for defrosting and heating food. Occasionally to take the chill of milk (I don't like cold drinks, I prefer room temperature).
Our tv is a hoot. It's got to be from the 90s, lol.
We just got a new TV due to the lightning strike to our home in late September. We had one from 2002!! It still worked so well and it was the first of the flat screens. LOL
We have a fun new one, and I like it.
I liked your book title. ;-)

I would LOVE to take that drive to Montana! Funny, I never gave that (Montana) much thought before you began sharing these exquisite scenes, and now I want to see with my own eyes.
The tree is lovely. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Oh Debbie - I love that tree - I would like it myself - it is gorgeous! They have a day for everything don't they? National Microwave Oven Day - lol! sandie
Hi Debbie, Loved reading your answers and that tree is so cute. Hope you are having a good afternoon.
Hugs,
Noreen
Oh, I'm sure Montana must be awesome! The pictures sure are.
I love your new tree. It looks so real.

Your tree is beautiful. I love the song and the movie White Vhristmas.
Driving through Montana, you can tell where it gets its nickname as Big Sky Country. Absolutely gorgeous there! We are so spoiled with microwaves that we have two of them for the convenience :) Tree looked so beautiful all decorated on Facebook!
betty
It sounds like a beautiful drive from your place to Amber's. I visited my cousin once out in Great Falls, but from here we cross Minnesota and the width of North Dakota. Your tree looks so pretty. I'm not putting ornaments on ours until the last minute because of the kitties.
Ha! That's a great title. As a person with 4 trees, I cannot imagine going down to just one - even though it would be easier. :)
We are blessed to live in such a picturesque nation. There are spectacular scenic drives from sea to shining sea. You will have to show us your tree after the ornaments get put on. I noticed that you went monochromatic on your lights. I am an unabashed multi-colored lights person. I am certain that you will figure out the answer to the current title of your life.
Thank you for visiting my blog page. Have a great weekend.
Hmmmm. National Microwave Day came and went without my celebrating it. Who knew?
If you want a white Christmas you are welcome to visit anytime. We have it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
