I feel that whenever I start decorating the house and I feel a great deal of magic and delight when doing my tree .....
I will be doing a post with all of my decorations soon!
2. What's your favorite type of holiday gathering? Will you/have you gathered in your favorite way this month?
My favorite gathering has always been having my children here on Christmas day. Adam and Gabby will be here and we will Skype with Amber and Dylan.

I do not agree but I don't have a name at this time for who is worthy.

Well this year was spent in a lot of pain with my knee so I certainly didn't accomplish the things that weigh heavy on my heart. That would be getting rid of all of my crap! I feel way better now so I am praying that 2018 is my year.

The unexpected magic or delight for me came fromt he lights shining up into the tree in our front yard. The bare branches are covered with red and green lights and when the wind blows they look like they are twinkling. I even told my husband that it looks magical
I realised during the past couple of days (while trying to decorate) that I have enough stuff for a three bed house. I live in a one bed flat!
ROFL on the deer in the sleigh. love it. good luck in 2018 getting rid of your crap, yet another HA HA moment for me and made me smile.... about the magical moments. i have one every morning at 5:22 Monday through Friday, nothing to do with holidays. when i get out of my truck at the YMCA the truck next to me has a 90 pound blue tick hound in it waiting for his daddy who swims with us. his name is OhSo... as in Oh So Beautiful. he loves me and i love him and i get kisses and licks and hugs 5 days a week. MAGICAL
So glad we have technology that allows us to see our kids! Enjoy Christmas with the newlyweds and wishing you all the best in 2018
Once I finally get going on the decorating there is joy to be had in it all. I enjoyed reading your answers. I hope pain will not be as big of an issue for you in 2018. A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.

I'm with you! I love the decorating, getting out old things and lights twinkling! So cheerful. Your tree is beautiful. Funny cartoon at the end. Merry Christmas to you and hoping 2018 will be less painful for you.
Set up a doable schedule on when you work in decluttering and it will all get done. You summed up your 2017 with a great statement. It was a hard year for you, but you did have indeed some great joys!

Seasons Greetings from a snowy NH. Decorating our tree often puts me in the Christmas Spirit, mostly from the memories that the ornaments evoke I suppose. I am so with you on the knee pain thing. I too hope that your 2018 is much better for you in every way. It would be great to have our children and grandchildren together for Christmas too. Alas, it is not to be.
