1. Best place you've been lately?
Visiting my dad and family in Florida. I returned home on Monday. I took this picture with my dad right before I left.
2. What's something you should say yes to today? Or this week? Or even this year?
This isn't the answer you're looking for but I would say that I need to start to say yes to being happy more often. We must enjoy life now because it is so short. I'm always living in the fear of the next bad thing to happen.
3. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day in any way, shape, or form? If so tell us how. In Western cultures the color green is typically associated with jealousy, nature, good luck, and growth. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'green'?
No we normally don't celebrate although I have made a traditional dinner in the past and I've had a green beer somewhere once on St. Patrick's Day.
I ditched school one day when I was in High School to see the water in the Chicago River go green between Columbus and Wacker drives. We took the train into Chicago from Riverside, Illinois.
When I hear the word green I think of grass or a wooded forest.
4. What's a product or service you love so much you'd happily be their spokesperson? Tell us what makes you such a fan.
I'm going to go with the Cooper Chief Pot. I've had mine for probably two years now when they first came on the market. We bought one for Adam and Gabby too! It's basically the only pot you need although I would love to get some of the other sizes that are now available. Nothing sticks to it!!
I would also be the spokesperson for Schmidt's Deodorant. I've been using it for maybe 4 years now. It is absolutely the best deodorant I've every used. I believe they sell it now at Target in a hard form stick but I don't like it as much.
5. March 14th is Pi Day. How are your math skills? What's the last thing you did that required math of any kind? And most importantly do you like pie? What's your favorite kind? With ice cream, whipped cream, or please hold the cream?
I am terrible at math. I can't think of anything I did lately that required math. Yes I like pie but seldom eat it. I will say key lime pie with whipped cream. If I had apple pie it would be with ice cream.
6. Insert your own random thought here.

LOL on the many paws. I have a bit of Irish in me but have never really celebrated St. Patricks day.
Great picture of you and your dad
When I think of the word green I think of the lack of it! There is not a single bud on a single tree here yet and it is slowly getting me down a bit.
Love your random thought, although in my case it might be more a case of collecting cats...
ha ha, bob must have many paws since he filled our house with dogs in the past. we don't celebrate S P day, but then we don't celebrate any of the holidays.. when i was 16 we went to St P parade in Savannah, but only to see the soldiers that were marching in it. a military town woo hoo on all the uniforms. love the pic of you and your dad, he looks super... can't tell he was so sick... i have a copper fry pan and love it
Love your many paws quote! Cute! I'm sorry you're anxious instead of happy, I walk a tight rope in that area too but usually realize that God's got it all under control and He promises to be with me through whatever may come. I do have to remind myself often. Prayers and hugs!
Worrying about the next bad thing to happen is certainly exhausting. I think that Julie's comment is right on in that regard. I hope you can find peace in knowing that God is still in control of the Universe and although we will suffer in this life (Jesus nor none of the Twelve avoided it), He is with us always.
As to the many paws, I loved it! Dogs and cats are wonderful, great companions, and great stress relievers. :-)
I'm so glad you had a nice visit with your dad. I think worry is a constant battle for women especially. A few years ago I memorized a couple of Bible verses that I repeat to myself when I feel worry creeping in. I think as we get older too we are so much more aware of the brevity and fragility of life. Hope your day is a happy one!
I love the photo with you and your dad! I am so happy your trip went well. Have a great rest of the week, my friend.

I'm definitely the many paws woman! You and your dad both look great. So happy you were able to make the trip. Did you surprise him? I thought about you on Oscar night.
They turn the water green in Chicago. How interesting. I’d like to see that! What a great picture of you and your dad. Loved the many paws. Made me laugh.
So glad you had a nice visit with your dad. Thant;s important! My dad died with I was 19 years old and there are days I miss him very much. I've forgotten what his voice sounded like. I'm so glad you still have that.
Good for you for intending to say yes to happiness!
We celebrate St. Patrick's only some years, but I do always wear green on that day.
Loved the pic of you and your handsome dad. I'm so glad he is doing well. I would love to see the "Green River" but we are never up there this time of year, so I will just have to look at pictures. Yay for you for looking for happy!
I am glad you had a nice time with your dad.
Debby do you have any Irish in you? I have a little.
Happy belated Pi Day.
I like key lime too.
I have seen the Chicago River green as well!
Say yes to HAPPY Debby!
Love, sandie
Such a precious pic of you and your Dad. Hope you (and I) both can say yes to happy and not worry about the next bad thing. The many paws has me giggling. Have a blessed evening.
