We saw A Simple Favor on Tuesday the 18th of September. This movie was so enjoyable. It has a lot of twists and turns. It keeps you guessing. I will buy this movie on DVD because I can't wait to see it again.
"Stephanie is a single mother with a parenting vlog who befriends Emily, a secretive upper-class woman who has a child at the same elementary school. When Emily goes missing, Stephanie takes it upon herself to investigate."
We ended up skipping the next two weeks because there just wasn't anything we had a great desire to see. We always make a choice as to seeing a movie on the big screen or when it comes out on DVD through Netflix.
On Tuesday the 9th of October we went to see A Star Is Born. Wow! This movie is wonderful. They did a wonderful job with this remake. We loved it. Bradly Cooper and Lady Gaga were fabulous.
This is the forth remake and I really loved it. It is one of those movies where you come out feeling exhausted from the highs and lows you experience during the movie.

my friend Lola told me at the Y today that they loved a star is born, she had seen all of the others and likes this one best. she said gaga did a great job

Hmmm.... I don't much care for GaGa, but everyone's giving this such great reviews. I loved the one with Kristofferson and Streisand so much!
Now that Tom has his hearing aids, I hope he'll be more willing to go to the theater.

I loved A Star Is Born with Streisand & Kristofferson. I'm not sure I want to see the newest one and have that change. lol We are not big theater goers so I have it set to DVR on DishNetwork as soon as it comes to tv.

I haven't seen either - heard the one had a lot of swear words...I hear Bradley sand and his record is on the charts.
I think I want to see A Star is Born. Lady Gaga looks so good in her "natural" state. I'm not a fan of her stage look. :-))

I want to see A Star is Born. I liked the last two versions. I don't think I knew there were four. I'd like to see the space movie too-First Man.
