I've been enjoying zucchini noodles each week with sauce. My friend Betty shared that she sauteed them for 2 minutes which is perfect. I have owned that spiral kitchen tool for at least a year or more but had never used it before.
We did the big DVD project. I know many of you would think why keep them at all. Well I love my collection and am not ready to get rid of them. So we removed the DVD's from their cases and they are all alphabetically filed into 5 cases with room to spare for some new ones I will still be buying.
Next up will be going through the cases page by page and getting a list put together so I know exactly which ones I own. I've been know to buy a duplicate DVD at a great sale not realizing I already own it!
I realize that it may be crazy to think that I would still buy DVD's but for now I still have my reasons. For awhile now I purchase the DVD - Blu-ray - Digital set. The digital goes directly to my VUDU account where I can watch them on my phone, computer or our TV's.
Currently I buy movies that I want to show to my dad when I visit. The only way I can show them is on his DVD player.
Eventually I will just purchase the digital copy directly from VUDU. So we are keeping the Blu-ray disks on those sets and I will be sending the rest to Florida for the family to enjoy along with some going to Amber and Dylan. (The DVD cases have all been recycled)
Well we finally found a mobile groomer for Skye. The woman is wonderful and gave Skye a great haircut. We have had a few issues with the last two groomers we have tried since her original groomer had left PetSmart over 2 years ago.

I didn't realize you could buy a dvd/digital set. I remember back when we bought movies for our VCR. We had tons of them especially for the kids.
I wish I could find a mobile groomer. I read about one a while ago but to come here it would have cost me a fortune
Skye looks wonderful.. I would say purrfect except it might hurt her canine feelings. LOVE the purple groomer truck. those DVD are perfect if the internet goes down. during Irma, we lost our Internet for 8 days, had power though. we could have watched movies. we had no TV or Internet. we did not own a DVD player so I went out and bought one, then borrowed a few movies from library, but a poor choice because everyone did the same thing. you could use your phone to take a photo of each page, then sit and type them in to excel and sort in alpha when done.
We downsized our collection of DVD's last month. We cut it by half of movies we kept. So many of them we never watch anymore or you can catch it on Tv now.
Skye is soooo dang cute!! Love the haircut.
I love zucchini noodles!! Delish! THey are awesome with Pesto if you like is also. Annster's Domain
Thanks for the shout out and glad you tried those noodles. They are so delicious and really easy to make.
I think its not a bad idea to keep your DVDs and to buy the ones you want. It is good entertainment and fun to be able to get it from your collection rather than trying to see if the movie is available on Netflix, etc.
I think those mobile pet groomers are great service. Is it more costly than going to a nonmobile grooming service?
betty
I need to do something like that with our DVD's and I still buy them too sometimes. Love Skye's haircut.
Skye looks wonderful, Debby! I've got to get me one of those zucchini gizmos. No matter how old I get, playing with my food is still half the fun!
Do those zucchini noodles taste like real spaghetti? And I know you love movies - why shouldn't you keep them and make them available to see someday. I have a lot too - I guess I need to do something like that myself.
Does Skye not like to get groomed? He looks good.

What a difference in your DVD collection! Saving just a little space, right? :)
Love the furbabe pic. Getting all the DVDS together and keeping a list is a good thing. When the kids were younger and it was VHS', I was buying a lot for me and the kids to enjoy, so I did that. List on that sort of thing was good. I kept a notebook of them in order. Your noodles look great. I have tried that with spag squash but I just can't do it, I have to have my noodles.
