Being Sociable
Welcome to Tuesday 4 in honor or Toni Taddeo.
Today's topic is Being Sociable:
1. Do you bring a gift when you are invited to someone's home?
My answer would probably be yes and usually a bottle of wine.
2. You've invited other bloggers for an old fashioned tea party. What are you serving for tea?
Honestly I have no idea. I'd rather have a pizza party.
3. Do you enjoy entertaining company in your home?
I do but since it's just us, along with our son, daughter in law and the baby living in California we just don't entertain much at all.
Because of James it is just easier to go to their house because of his naps and bedtime. They do come here on Christmas day.
4. The 4th of July national celebration will be in South Dakota at Mount Rushmore. How will you celebrate America's birthday?

I don't often get invited places but sometimes I take a gift sometimes not.
I would prefer a pizza party over a tea party as well.
Other than my kids coming over there's no entertaining in my house at all.
I'm pretty sure that my 4th of July will be spent just like any other day of the year.
Beautiful photo at the end! Is that your backyard? ❤️❤️❤️
I'm not big on entertaining or even going to parties, except with family. But I agree with you, I'd much rather have a pizza party than a tea party.
I'm going to your pizza party over a tea party any time!! It is hard to entertain with little ones around; you guys have a good system of going over there and visiting with social distancing.
Have a great Cinco de Mayo! We're bringing in Mexican food to eat tonight.

I am like you I do try to bring a little something when I go to someone's house. Maybe you will grill with your son for the 4th?
I will take a pizza party every single time!!
A Pizza party sounds like fun. Have a great week, my friend 💖
Debby, with a view like yours I wouldn't care to go anywhere else for fireworks. A pizza party sounds much better than tea. Got wine? (*smile*)
I love having company and it can be as simple as a plate of cookies and coffee or a big Thanksgiving dinner..I like to have people bring something to add to the meal. Lots of fun and chatter in the kitchen.
Yes I usually bring a little something when I go to someone's home.
If things have "opened up" by July 4th we will probably have family over for a BBQ and see what fireworks are happening in the neighborhood.
I really don't want to be on the road on holidays..too many crazies and drinking going on.

the answer to all the questions is our stay at home alone 2 months is no different than our normal lives. no dinners no guests no gifts. no socializing for us...
Oh yes, a pizza party sounds wonderful too! I will be there and what a gorgeous view! Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

Enjoyed your answers. We don't socialize with the Coronavirus
still out. We only go to hubby's doctors.
We will celebrate our July 4 with a hometown fireworks
display that we can see from our house, if they don't cancel it.
I also generally bring a bottle of wine when I'm going to someone's house.
And I'm also with you on the Fourth of July - we won't go to any public event until there is a vaccine.
