1. Saturday marks the first official day of summer! Whoohoo! Your favorite thing about the season?
I'm not sure what my favorite thing is. This year is definitely different so we shall see. I'm stuck in the house for the long run. Obviously spending more time in the backyard.
2. Love it!, labor of love, not for love or money, no love lost, love handles, love does, love-hate relationship, misery loves company, tough love, love will find a way...pick one and tell us how it applies to your life right now.

I'm going with "love will find a way." Everyday I am thankful that my family is well. Thankful we have food and a nice home to live in. Okay, maybe I can't go to the store or to the show or bowling in the Fall but this too shall pass.
3. What's one thing currently causing you to seethe? One thing currently making you smile?
Not everyone will agree with me but not wearing masks has me seething. I would like to go into a store but if people don't wear masks for my protection then I am a prisoner in my home until their is a vaccine.
Of course it's baby James. We are going their on Saturday to celebrate Father's Day. It will still be social distancing from about 6 to 10 ft away.
They sent this photo yesterday. "Stay Home, Stay Safe!"
4. Of the following to-dos found on a summer checklist (here) which three would definitely make your personal list of summer want-to-dos?roast marshmallows over a fire, go berry or peach picking, dangle your feet off the end of a dock, sit on a porch swing, watch the sunset from a beach, nap in a hammock, go barefoot in the grass, collect seashells, play tennis, go fishing, build a sandcastle, catch fireflies, eat a soft serve ice cream cone, make a pitcher of Sangria, swim in a lake, stargaze, ride a bike, paddle a canoe or kayak, make a summer road trip, throw a frisbee
Do you make an actual list?
No I don't make a list. I could put my feet in the grass and maybe get a soft serve ice cream. Not much else falls into things I can do being on lockdown. However I can watch the sunset each night from our backyard!
Well I splurged on something Tuesday night. Color The World had a sale on a skin care kit with 3 lipsticks. I'm a sucker for trying new things for my face and I do like their lipsticks.
Actually we are expecting a package from Lou Malnati's (click to see kit) today which we will be spluring on. It's a Father's Day gift for Mark. One Cheese deep dish pizza, 1 Slab of Real Urban Barbecue Baby Back Ribs, 1 Vienna Hot dog Kit & 1 Eli's Plain Cheesecake. (Chicago)

That is the cutest photo of the baby! I LOVE it! Such a gorgeous sunset from your yard, also. I hope you all enjoy your visit for father's day. xoxo
LOVE that picture of James. Looks like him and the dog were having fun.
Marks fathers day gift sounds delicious.
Cute picture of James.
And your Father's Day feast sounds great
The only this I ever make is things to do around the house or places to go thinks that if I don't listen I'll forget to do them. I don't know if I'm seething or not but the thing you said about the mask is really on the top of my makes me upset list! There are two people that go to the YMCA both of them at about 55 years of age and both of them told me today that they never wear a mask except at the Y because they can't come in if they don't and at the doctor's office because they can't go in if they don't but they don't wear them anywhere else. That upset me! You're James and that dog is just absolutely precious made me feel happy just to look at it.
WOW.. that sunset!!
Say "Hi" to James from me. ;-)

Love your random thought! That's something to print out and keep close by to refer to often! Beautiful sunset!! So cute with James in his house with Roxy!
I'm anti mask, LOL, but I'm going to start wearing them only to protect others around me. I'll be judicious in wearing them but when out and about among people I will don one.
Love what you splurged on for both yourself and Mark!
betty
Like Betty said, that last meme is a KEEPER! So true.
I'll definitely be checking out that Lou Malnati's kit. It's been over 40 years since Tom left Chicago, but he still waxes poetic (*smile*) about their authentic hot dogs and pizza. Do y'all think this pizza is as good as Uno's?
Excellent photos! I don't like it when people aren't wearing masks either, I stay as far away as I can get. Enjoy your summer :)
I'm with you on the masks. I'm not a fan of wearing one, but I do any time I'm in public. I wish other people would be considerate and wear one.
James is a little cutie!
You have wonderful sunset views! Amazing! Say hi to James for me too : ) He is just a doll!
For me - summer brings me closer to the months I love - lol.
I do believe that love will always find a way.
I agree I would love it if people wore masks.
James is adorable.
Your views and home are gorgeous!
Love, sandie
Love your random thought. So true. Enjoy yoour visit with James and your Father's Day celebrations.
#2 is definitely something to be thankful for 💖
Happy Father's Day to the Dads
Have a blessed weekend, Debby!
Love your sunset! Baby James looks so happy! I always wear a mask and some places still require them. Amy Grant sand Love Will Make A Way.
I have not worn a face mask yet, as they are not mandatory here. Nor are many others wearing them. The only place you have to wear them is public transport where keeping your distance is hard. That will be something once I start work again...
