1. It's fall y'all. What's something you love about this season and also something you don't?
We have had an extremely hot summer so I'm ready for some cooler weather. Right around the corner is Thanksgiving and Christmas which I love but I'm just not ready to celebrate this year. I have no clue how we are going to do it.
2. When you think of the colors of fall, which one is your favorite? Is there somewhere you could easily day trip to see the leaves in all their glory? Will you?
I would have to go with yellow and orange would be a close second. Yes technically where we live we can be in the mountains to see the fall colors, snow in the winter or at the beach all within about 2 hours. Actually we might see some fall colors this week!
3. What's one thing you've let 'fall' by the wayside during this season of staying home and staying away?
Housekeeping. I'm failing at it.
4. If you're wearing a sweater is it most likely a cardigan, crew neck, v-neck, or zip up hoodie?
Most likely it is a cardigan.
5. What's your secret to dealing with change?
When I find out I will let you know! Actually I believe that if I spend a few days thinking over the situation I can come up with ways to deal with it. Do we really have a choice?
6. Insert your own random thought here.
When I was in my Feedly account, where I read all of my blogs, I hit the wrong button and deleted posts I hadn't read yet. I retrieved some of them but not all so if I haven't been over to read you posts from the last few days I apologize.

I love the colors in fall but I hate that it's followed so closely by winter. I can't say that I have a favorite fall color, I love them all.
I would probably be wearing a zip up hoodie.
I've done that more than once with my feedly. I can't tell you how many times I've hit marked as read. Sometimes I just let it go and others I will go into the recently read section to see what I missed.
I enjoyed your answers and picture today.
Have a good Wednesday my friend.
I love, love, love fall!
And I copied that meme! Love it.

I bet you will see some trees changing their leaves in the days ahead :) Enjoy! It will be interesting how holidays are being celebrated this year. Read a report from the CDC that said how Halloween should be handled (basically no parties, no fall festivals, etc. etc) and was saying large family gatherings for Thanksgiving and Christmas should be avoided. I have a funny feeling people will think differently about that one!

a few days ago i did the same thing, marked all feedly read and had read none of them. don't even know how i did it. red colors are my favorite and none here..
I guess long winters are the price we pay in Wisconsin for the gorgeous autumns. I love all the colors too. And I suspect that everyone finds this year difficult. There hardly seems a point to housework when no one can come over to enjoy time together, does it.
I'm always clicking on something I shouldn't. Oye. Slow down Ellen...slow down. Housekeeping has definitely been hit and miss the last several months. Since my motivation generally is knowing guests are arriving that motivation went out the window! Hope you have a great Fall day and that your temps cool down!
I am so stressed out about the holidays this year too, I just dread thinking about how we will do things. At least here in Florida it won't be so cold, we will probably continue on the way we have so far. No looking forward to it at all.
Hello,
Yes cooler temperatures are one of the things I look forward to with fall's arrival as well. This week has been nice here in the 70s or maybe 80s. Not 100s! :)
I haven't thought much about the holidays yet. I guess it will look different for us all this year.
I've no clue how we're going to observe the coming holidays! Love that reminder meme ... particularly the 'foggy' look behind the coffee mug. Makes me want to grab a sweater!
Our old house had a beautiful fall tree in the front. It grew so big and the roots were a problem. I want to get another fall tree but I will leave it in the pot.
I know you would love to downsize and I really wish that was possible for you. But you live in such an idealic location. Yes, I can see why get-togethers would be stressful for those with compromising health conditions. We haven't been afraid to gather and love on each other and are looking forward to being with our Indiana family next week.
I loved your #5 and #6 especially. And I love Christmas, so I guess fall is okay since I can anticipate Christmas. Actually I do like fall, too.
I like your answers... especially your quote at the end!
Housework is on my Possibility List, but it's so far down not much has been done. I'm extremely happy, though, and in my book that's a much greater achievement. One reason I love my husband is he agrees with me. 🙂
Sometimes marking all read (even accidentally) is a blessing. Allows you to start from scratch and feel caught up : ) We're trying to figure out the holidays as well, and then a wedding soon after which is fun, but also challenging. Have a wonderful weekend!
